> 3 dayI bought these for a friends pool deck. The existing speakers failed in a storm. These looked and sounded great and the install took around 45 min (for both, including testing) I would buy again

> 3 dayPurchased these for outside in the garage and they sound great! Adequate bass but for more umph a sub would be advised. I have a sub attached when I want/need more boom. Love the fact you can directionally adjust these simply and easily.

> 3 dayInstalled these on our patio/ porch and it fills the area with decent clean bass and treble. we live in the country and have lots of space around our home and these make for a pleasant experience. If you want lots of volume and heavier bass then you may want to buy something up scale. these should work for most people.

> 3 dayI have these speakers outside on my covered deck (roof). Sound quality is exceptional. Rich highs and reasonable bass response. Good value.

> 3 dayI am a picky person when it comes to audio. These absolutely blow me away at the sound quality for the price. These are the very best bargain in audio I have heard!

> 3 dayAs another reviewer mentioned, dont plan on using banana plugs with these. Pictured is a dual banana plug (a canonical Genrad 274-MB, which defined the genre). They need to make the recess larger, or angle the binding posts more. Not really an issue if permanently mounted, just use spade lugs, or even clamp the wire. But if you want to move them around, thats much more difficult than simply using a dual banana plug. Dinged one star for poor design.

17-11-2024Im very pleased with these speakers. I installed them about 6 months ago to complete a new covered patio. Theyre powered by an older Kenwood VR-209 receiver (100W/channel). The clarity is absolutely amazing, Im able to easily understand vocals without pumping up the volume so they dont interfere with conversations or aggravate the neighbors. I have only one minor criticism, and thats the lack of bass. When compared to the Klipsch speakers with similar sized drivers mounted in the garage these produce maybe half the bass (driven by the same receiver using zones). The bass is still adequate to appreciate the music, its just thinner than I like at the same receiver settings. If I werent running two different pairs off the same system I could likely adjust the EQ to overcome the deficiency which is why I didnt dock a star. Every guest that hears these speakers is impressed.
