(In blue sweater are my after pics) I did micro needle in the Image Iluma serum and I followed a YouTube video so I would mess up. I wish there was information about what needle is best to use. I started with the lesser one. On my forehead did .5 needle depth, same with top of cheeks and then jaw line, meatier part of cheeks did 1.0 depth, under eyes and under brow bone did .25. (I am also an esthetician but this wasn’t something allowed in my state so I didn’t learn it) I don’t think this is AS professional however I think it can be done at home safely if you don’t move the machine to fast or slow on your skin. I did numb it before too. I CANNOT WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN NEXT MONTH :)

So I really enjoyed getting facials that included this microneedling pen. After paying for like 6 @ $200 each . I decided I could learn how to do this for myself. I love this pen so much! I’ve used twice now over the past 45 days and I highly recommend. I even have given my mom a facial as she’s familiar & she loves it! I love that the needles are wrapped individually to prevent contamination! I love that you get so many ! Not sure what I will do when/if I run out of refills, will make an update to this review if the time comes! Also I do recommend using numbing cream 20-30 minutes before (over the counter works, but no menthol) if you plan to go deep that 0.5.

I’ve only used this product twice but I’ve had no issues so far. I started on my face using the .25 mm setting for a brief amount of time, I didn’t experience any discomfort except on the tip of my nose which felt more sensitive. The next week my skin looked really healthy and glowing so I watched some YouTube videos on how to use a micro needling pen and decided to do a longer session. I applied lidocaine because I decided to go up to .5 mm for my cheeks and I didn’t feel anything. Afterwards my skin was red and a bit splotchy but I didn’t bleed at all. I applied hyaluronic acid afterwards and the next day my skin was still a bit pink but mostly calm. I’m going to wait a bit longer this time before doing it again to let my skin heal but I’m excited by my results so far. It’s easy to use and much cheaper than going to a clinic for treatment. I can’t wait to see my skin after a few sessions!

As a professional esthetician, I have used much more expensive pens on my clients for scar treatment. I wanted something that was easier to handle, wireless and light way so that I could doy own treatments at home. This product met all of my expectations and I liked that the needles were individually sealed for sanitation. I recommend that if you are not a professional, you watch a couple of videos on how to safely use this.

First off, this is my first experience in microneedling. I could not afford the price of going to a dermatologist, and I was not sure of the end results anyway. Decided to purchase this one because of the good reviews and how it appeared to be constructed. It comes with a good amount of needles, the pen is all metal, very solid and good weight. I had a slight problem putting the needle in but finally figured it out. For my needs I am using the 16 needle. I will say I am extremely sensitive to needles and my skin turned beet red after with the lowest setting so it will be a bit of time for me to get used to this. I dont spend much time on it when I am doing it. I think it stated 10-15 days interval for the skin to recover and build collagen which is what I want/need. Overall, pretty good quality.
