Greater than one weekAfter talking to Apple and realizing that I could purchase a new iPad for 60 dollars more than the replacement cost, I purchased a new iPad for immediate use and then kept this one to try to repair on my own when I had time. I should have held off on buying a new one as this did the trick. The item I received looked like it had been used previously as there were a few scratches and some of the foam adhesive was scraped off. I watched the video recommend by iparts and I also watched a few others just to get as much info as I could. Unfortunately, all the videos dont show them removing a cracked to bits iPad screen. So, when I was done, I had two extra magnets that I wasnt sure of their locations or how to attach. I had to google the correct location and I ended up just using the adhesive that was attached to the glass to directly attach them to the glass. I followed the directions and initially, it worked but, once I securely attached the glass, I realized that the home button was acting very weird. Sometimes it would work and sometimes it would act like it was stuck. So, back to google I went and found out that certain parts of the glass need to be covered with tape so I ended scraping it off the old glass and reusing it. Once I did this, the iPad mini worked just like new. The video that they direct you to doesnt tell you to tape off certain parts so definitely google iPad mini home button not working after digitizer replacement

> 3 dayDefinitely not the real digitizer. Mounted it without problems to realize that the touch screen doesnt react as it should. When you use your finger it has kind of skipping effect and when u use the stylos it doesnt even respond normally. Later on I found that in a daylight you can see horizontal rows of diagonal lines on the digitizer (rows of tiny sensors inside the glass) which of course you cannot see on the original. The stains from the finger tips are much visible, makes your iPad looks always dirty. Home button fell in a couple of days after assembling. Anyways it was not too hard do the job with the tools the package provides, but overall if youre looking for the high quality digitizer (since you cant get an original part) dont buy this one. Cheaper solution is not always the best one. P.S. I liked my original digitizer better even though it was broken.

> 3 dayNo instructions. Youtube helps, but theyre not all the same. I ended up having to buy a second one, the first one didnt work right, but since Id already glued it they wouldnt refund me. The second one works okay.

Greater than one weekProduct was curved, did not sit flush. Also didnt come with adhesive which other brands do. Home button also stuck and I will be returning it. Spend the extra 2 dollars for the iCracked product.
