didnt work

I didnt think anything could save the ipad, especially when i visited the apple store and they said they dont repair ipads at all, they just replace them for $220. #@$&!!! Well i almost gave up until i googled some videos and saw that you can fix it yourself! My ipad wasnt just a broken screen though, it was warped too, so i wasnt too confident that it was reparable. When i ordered this, it originally said over 30 days to ship, which was inconvenient because i was going to move before then. But i contacted the seller and he got it to me in a week. :) I received all the tools and everything that was advertised, and the screen was well packaged. When i took the screen off, the warping disappeared! The only problem i had was with the screws. Either the screwdriver or something in the ipad was magnetic, so removing and replacing the screws was a challenge (especially since they were so tiny!!), but im not a hardware person, so i dont know if this is standard... I recommend taking a picture of each step as you remove things so that you know where everything goes when putting it back together. There was plastic covering the back and front of the screen, and then smaller plastic pieces covering the adhesive around the edges of the back. Unfortunately for me, the lcd was also damaged, theres a small dark spot/crack on it. Theres something else wrong too that i havent been able to figure out; something is *tender* on the bottom left corner, so that laying the screen flat/snug against this corner makes the ipad go beserk, like a ghost is playing with it and pressing all the buttons and opening all the apps… but thats my ipads problem. So if i cant fix this phantom thing, and end up buying a new one, and then break the new one, i would definitely buy a new screen from this seller! :D

did not work. the strip was no good to connect with the ipad defactive peace.

If I could rate this 0 I would. Replaced by a professional with this digitizer. It is skippy to touch. When scrolling down one section of setting both sides move when only one should. Meaning that this digitizer is junk.

Did not work for my iPad. Took apart and went through every step multiple times to no avail. Not sure why, just did not work for my unit.

Dont waste your money, I really wanted to give this no stars. The screen cracked as soon as I put it on.
