Everyone in my house has an Apple product. I have replaced more screens than I can remember. They are always hit and miss with quality. Not this one. This thing is perfect. A great replacement.

Product was fairly simple to install and the included tools made the job easy. Worked with no problems after installing on my iPad. The screen works with not problems or dead spots. The home button works, but does not have the same touch as the original. I watched a video on how to replace the glass on the iPad mini and it took about an hour to finish. Would have given it 5 stars, if the installation instructions included the step that you need to heat the ipad at the end to get the new adhesive to secure the new glass to the iPad frame.

The screen is cheap and the functions dont work.

This set is great, and worked perfect. The only thing I will say is that I am a bit disappointed with the lack of instructions. If you buy this, take your time and watch a few videos before jumping in - it would be easy to mess this up! I had to watch the 2 videos on the site several times to figure out what to do next.

I wish I could say 4.5 stars. These people are great to work with. My first one worked fine, but I screwed up the install. However, great practice. I can now take apart and put together a Mini in about 30-45 minutes. The second one arrived and the digitizer ribbon cracker as I bent it over to attach it to the main board. After a little swearing, I wrote a nice polite email to them with a pic and they sent me a return label to get it back to them. Another one is already on its way. Very polite and quick service. Which to me is worth more than the product. The only reason for less than 5 is that one ribbon cable- and I still wish I could have still made it 4.5.

If youre a glutton for punishment using small tools and a steady hand (and about an hour of your life, if you know what youre doing), this is the kit to buy. Otherwise, spend the $120 at your local screen fix-it shop.
