> 3 dayActualizacion...

> 3 dayI overpaid for the Orange switches here. The green switches were like $110, while the orange switches were more than $130. Besides the price difference: The keyboard is pretty nice for a razer keyboard. Coming from a Blue switch clone, the key feel is great and I dig the RGB solely so I can use it at night. The wristrest is comfortable and the keycaps are decent and dont have that ugly gamer font. I know alot of people hate that you have to sign up for razers Synapse program to change the lighting, but i honestly dont really care too much about it. One problem i do have with the keyboard, is that the symbols like !, @, #.... and ?, >, <... arent backlit and cant be seen in a dark environment. While im used to it as a programmer, it may tick off others. This is a nice keyboard but you can get a better keyboard from a different brand, or you can get the blackwidow lite for cheaper

> 3 dayIve been using this keyboard for a while now, and its definitely not bad. I have the Orange switches, which keeps the clicking sound to a minimum and feels really good when using for gaming and typing. However, this keyboard has a number of issues that are not present in cheaper keyboards from other manufacturers. First, there is no onboard memory, which is inexcusable. When a GB of flash memory can be bought for $5, theres no excuse to not include memory on this keyboard. Since theres no memory, I am unable to store a color and lighting pattern profile. Unfortunately, since theres no onboard memory, we are forced to use Synapse to apply the color settings after Synapse loads with Windows. This means that any time Synapse isnt running, the keyboard will randomly pick a color and use that until the software can sync to the keyboard. Thats just pathetic. Another issue I have is with Synapse. I also use a Razer Orb Weaver, which is the only reason I even bought this keyboard (I wanted these two components to match). But, the Orb Weaver uses a DIFFERENT VERSION of Synapse, so I have to keep 2 separate versions of Razers software running at all times. This is just terrible, and reminds me I avoided Razer products for years. Also, it should be noted that there is another huge flaw with this keyboard: the lack of color shifting for Hypershift. The Function keys (F1-F12) serve two purposes, which is toggle by holding a button on the keyboard. However, the engineers are Razer werent smart enough to realize that those alternate icons of the F keys should probably light up! One would think that when you hold the hypershift key, the alternate icons on the Function keys would illuminate so you can actually see the function youre trying to access. There are printed icons on the Function keys, but they never illuminate. This is just inexcusable for a product at this price point and it tells you a lot about Razers design philosophy. They make decent products, but their competitors put a lot more thought the functionality of the things they make. But I must admit that the keyboard does work perfectly fine and I have had no issues yet. Razer quality has always been on the lower end, so I dont have high hopes for longevity, but I will use the keyboards eventual failure to get a Logitech replacement instead. Other things to note: the Caps Lock key does illuminate white when activated. That is a nice touch that should have carried over to the dual action Function keys. The magnetic wrist rest is a nice feature that feels good and works just fine. Ill keep it until it breaks but Ill replace it with something better.

> 3 dayIts a great keyboard, but its not even close to being silent like they advertise. O-rings only help dampen noise when pressing the key down, not when it pops back up, and even then, it barely helps and is not worth the effort of putting them on. The metal plate base also makes keys create a slight ringing sound when you type on them. Its a mechanical keyboard, so youre not going to get extremely quiet keys unless you use Cherry MX Silent Red switches or something. Its small and has solid construction though and it doesnt get dirty from finger oil easily. It also has a detachable braided wire, which is great. It only has white lights, which is fine for me, and it has the ability to adjust the brightness through fn+f11 and fn+f12 without any of the unwanted Razer software. For keys that have two different symbols on them, such as [ { or 0 ), only the top symbol lets light through, so its not a great keyboard if you want to use it in a completely dark room, but I see no reason to even want to do that in the first place.

> 3 dayit is a great keyboard, sounds spectacular but after a month occasionally when I press a key it will type out as two which can sometimes get annoying but doesnt bother me while gaming

> 3 dayGreat product, I love the keys these switches are nice and clicky. I can type & do all my things and just bang on it and it sounds like im a fancy hacker. I just got it and this review is pretty much a few minutes after having it. If i had a con it would be the height of the actual keys from the base of the keyboard body. They are pretty high if you are not using a wristrest your hand may get tired. Its just a sentence of typing and my hands were feeling fatigued. I dropped the kickstands back down to make it flat and its immediately much better. Yeah this is a great keyboard on a deal.

> 3 dayI love this keyboard! Before I bought this keyboard I was using a Blackwidow v3 mini hyperspeed and I love that keyboard. The form factor, buttery smooth switches and the weight even though its made out of plastic it almost didnt feel like it it definitely felt premium. To compare the two this keyboard feels much lighter and plastic feeling no heftiness to it really, but despite that man o man the switches here (silent linear) are pure gold also the space bar has no rattle on the sides or center like most big name gaming keyboards do, not sure if they added spacers and lubed the keys, but they mustve. Next, the magnetic wrist rest. Thats what drawn me towards this keyboard, I was looking for a magnetic leatherette wrist rest and boom razer didnt let me down comfy, soft and most important it seems pretty oil resistant(regarding skin oils). Take note, many here in the reviews say that the magnets arent strong enough, I would have to disagree with that, its legit perfect not sure why you would have to pry your wrist rest off of your keyboard, its strong enough to not move for intense games like comp fps. Its something that really brought this keyboard together. I would love to see this, though it most likely will never happen is adding this exact keyboard style with their hyperspeed tech (I would love this keyboard to be wireless). Also, added weight. Finally, modding this thing. Something I plan to add(but definitely not necessary for the average user)is EVA foam. That should help with any resonance which there isnt much at all. Also, razers doubleshot pbt keycaps.

> 3 dayI play many different games and its works well with most of them. But recently Ive been playing a rhythm game called Friday Night Funkin. When I go to hold down the notes, for less than a fraction of a second the keys stop registering which causes me to get a miss in the game and it almost makes it impossible for me to play. If you do not care about rhythm games, I would highly recommend this as it works well with everything else.

> 3 dayCaveat: I am not a gamer, I am a programmer. who likes mechanical keyboards. Pluses (for me) - Rather nice keycap font. - Tactile but non-clicky switches (similar to Cherry Browns) - Quiet, esp with the o-rings installed. This keyboard may be a good option for an office setting, where noise is a factor. - O-rings are included (you have to install them yourself) - nice white backlighting - When the caps lock is on, the caps key lights up in green. - The key switches claim to have extreme longevity. Minuses: - Inexpensive short and thin keycaps. These are nothing like the excellent replacement keycap sets Razer sells separately. Well, at least the font is nice looking on them... - The tactile bump of the switches is barely there. You can feel it if you press the key real slow, but at normal speed, I detect barely any feedback. In this sense they are very similar to the Cherry Browns. (My baseline for these type of tactile/non-clicky key switches are the Holy Pandas, a pretty high bar) - The keybed is not very heavy (esp compared to some other TKL keyboards, such as the RedRagon, or CoolerMaster) . (Usually, for me, the heavier the keybed the better. (You preference may be different). - The biggest minus for me: The secondary (shifted) symbols are placed low on the keycaps and not lit up, and are rather small (hard to see) . Actually, it looks like the secondary symbols are just painted on, and not even see-through, The !@#$ and similar symbols should be see-through, placed higher, closer to the primary symbols 1234 (etc) . So that they are properly lit up by the backlighting. For example the: pause break key was done properly, and both words are lit up just fine. This is how all the keys shoudl have been done. Good quality keycaps often render both the primary and the shifted key symbols backlighted, so this is a rather cheap-ish shortcut Razer took here. I could buy a better keycap set, but that would push up the cost to the point where you could just buy a similar keyboard that comes with the desired quality keycaps to begin with. - No extra usb port on the keybed. - The keyboard tilt is only one way. The best keybeds allow it both ways, so you can elevate either the front or the back of the keybed. Summary: On sale, I consider it a good value. At full retail, there are probably better keyboards out there. I consider the Red Dragon TKL keyboard combined with with the Razer sold keycap set, plus an add-on set of double o-rings a marginally more satisfying keyboard overall. (Much Heavier keybed, solderless, swappable switches (within the Outemu faily) Of course, actual switch longevity still remains to be seen. Some suggestions for Razer: Sell this with a better quality, thicker keycap set. Place the secondary ( shifted) symbols higher on the keys, so they can be backlighted. Add an extra USB port. Make the key switch sockets solderless (swappable). Make it a bit heavier. (Something like the Drop Ctrl, but for half the money). Make they keybed tiltable both ways (esp. ergonomically, _away_ from the user)
