> 3 dayThis is my first mechanical keyboard purchase after it came highly recommended from a friend who has the Razer Ultimate. I have used mechanical keyboards 20 years ago when I first got introduced to computers and the clicky sound of the keys was intriguing; and over the period of time silent keyboards took over my life and became a norm. I think this is a very well made keyboard and the keys are back-lit and responsive. I primarily use it for office work and occasional gaming. I type fast and some of the keyboards I have used in the past have a bouncy feel to them while some others have keys that have resistance built-in them; but this keyboard is not like that; the keys press so easily and retract back very quickly offering good tactile feedback...you type and you are ready for the next press allowing you to type so fast and accurately. The spacing of the keys is good too and the crunchy & clicky sound is like a rhythm for my mind and the ears wanting me to type more. This is Razers compact keyboard version and does not have a number pad; so not ideal for number crunchers. Dimensions of the keyboard is 14 x 5 x 0.5 inch (355 x 127 x 12.7 mm) and comes with a braided detachable cable. This is suppose to be a tactile & silent keyboard but in reality they are not quiet; they have that clicky sound to them which I desired most. However, it comes with orange colored sound dampeners (called O-rings) in the box which need to be put around the keys to keep them silent; I have not done that though. Overall, a great compact keyboard for a super fast typing experience if you can live without the number pad.

> 3 dayThe orange switches are quiet, but dont feel as good as loud keys. I guess its just a tradeoff. The keyboard is nice and minimal, RGB looks good, and the wrist pad is nice

> 3 dayI love this keyboard! Before I bought this keyboard I was using a Blackwidow v3 mini hyperspeed and I love that keyboard. The form factor, buttery smooth switches and the weight even though its made out of plastic it almost didnt feel like it it definitely felt premium. To compare the two this keyboard feels much lighter and plastic feeling no heftiness to it really, but despite that man o man the switches here (silent linear) are pure gold also the space bar has no rattle on the sides or center like most big name gaming keyboards do, not sure if they added spacers and lubed the keys, but they mustve. Next, the magnetic wrist rest. Thats what drawn me towards this keyboard, I was looking for a magnetic leatherette wrist rest and boom razer didnt let me down comfy, soft and most important it seems pretty oil resistant(regarding skin oils). Take note, many here in the reviews say that the magnets arent strong enough, I would have to disagree with that, its legit perfect not sure why you would have to pry your wrist rest off of your keyboard, its strong enough to not move for intense games like comp fps. Its something that really brought this keyboard together. I would love to see this, though it most likely will never happen is adding this exact keyboard style with their hyperspeed tech (I would love this keyboard to be wireless). Also, added weight. Finally, modding this thing. Something I plan to add(but definitely not necessary for the average user)is EVA foam. That should help with any resonance which there isnt much at all. Also, razers doubleshot pbt keycaps.

> 3 dayI like this keyboard. The TKL form factor is perfect for my small setup. The Chroma LEDs are great. It is Razer, so of course it’s a bit pricey, but I’d definitely recommend. Ranked mine a tad lower on the “for gaming” score because I got the green switches which feel a bit like trying to game on a typewriter.

Greater than one weekI rated base on my experience all my life been using generic non-mechanical keyboard, so base on my short experience using Razer BlackWidow Lite TKL Tenkeyless Mechanical Keyboard i find it really good and its quite an experience. I have read some reviews that sound of clicking is too loud, maybe, but i find it soothing.

> 3 dayPros: - Sweet software and product support - Key Clicks are just right - Braided and detachable USB cable - Lots of configuration - Soft Magnetic Wrist rest Cons: - Key clicks can be loud during gamplay - High MSRP if not picked up on sale - No dedicated media keys (volume, next, pause, etc.) PIcked up this keyboard while building a new PC. At its current promotion of almost half off, decided to take a risk. All things considered, this keyboard delivers an excellent quality in a small package. While some might find the key clicks too loud during gameplay, it does feel very satisfying. Razer software support is also nice as theres a million different ways to customize the setting. For a gamer thats looking to get a upgrade from their membrane keyboard, this is a solid pick. For someone whos mixed between office work and gaming, this is a great middle of the road choice. Overall, I would recommend this keyboard if used in a private setting, or if looking forward a great mix of TKL, office, and gaming usage.

> 3 dayI bought this keyboard a short time after Christmas when it was on sale for $70. I wouldn’t say it’s worth over $100 dollars but I am pretty cheap. I got the yellow switches and they really feel like a membrane key feel with a pretty “smooth” sound to them . The wrist rest is pretty nice for using it for 5 minutes, but it is pretty big and takes up too much space for my desk so I don’t use it. You can probably do anything your mind could come up to with the lights if you get the Razor Synapse but I just leave mine on a static color because my eyes get distracted by the flashing lights. Overall, definitely worth $70 might be worth $100 and definitely seems a bit much for $130… so if it’s on sale , buy it.

> 3 dayThis is a superb gaming keyboard with limited button features, but Razers synapse program makes it an amazing tool to keep your game sharp. Four stars for a great build, cool customizable lights right now to the individual key, an excellently built wrist rest that conveniently snaps on to the keyboard, and an intuitive program that allows for all of the customization. Fast and reliable, obviously tough with lots of use. While an expensive keyboard, I got the tactile and clicky version on sale, and holy crap do they mean clicky. It sounds like a damn typewriter, but is a very effective and deadly fast board for anyone looking to step up their game. I’d advise to wait for a sale, or spend a little extra on a version with some more options if you got the coin, and probably a quieter switch set.

> 3 dayI purchased this keyboard as part of my Work from Home setup. I like the feel of the keys and its quiter than my other mechanical keyboard I use for gaming. I put the orange o-rings on, and its really only slightly quieter. I intend to take this keyboard to work for my office setup when my office opens back up. This keyboard looks very professional and the onboard controls allow me to adjust backlight without the need for the Razer Software, which is good for those trying to use the keyboard on a corporate computer. I like having the functionality of a mechanical keyboard without the rainbow of backlight, which cant be controlled on a corporate computer. Overall, a great keyboard that is good for gaming and work.

> 3 dayUpdate: Now that I know there is a much bigger world in mechanical keyboard, I see that this one is just an entry level cheaper-than-average keyboard. Considering the price, it is ok, but I want more, and more! I recommend to pay a little more and get a better quality keyboard in terms of feels and noise. So far, this keyboard is an outstanding experience for a new mechanical keyboard user. I’ve been using logitech K800, which uses scissor type low profile membrane keys, which works great with no wrist pain thanks to its extremely low profile, laptop-like keys. However, it lacks the fun, which I did not know there can be any fun in typing before I met this. Typing mechanical keys is so much more fun than typing the membrane keyboards. The mechanical key bounces back after being pressed, and that makes typing a lot more responsive and faster. Typing sound can be a matter of preference. Even though it uses orange keys, your coworkers may not like it. O-rings do not help much. It slightly reduces noise, but the typing feels better without it. The caveat is that the key height is much higher than my old low profile keyboard K800, so I am worried that there might be some fatigue in the wrist. I purchased a wrist pad as well, and so far it looks fine. If I ever purchase another mechanical keyboard, I would purchase the one with integrated wrist pad like the latest blackwidow v3.
