> 3 dayI rated base on my experience all my life been using generic non-mechanical keyboard, so base on my short experience using Razer BlackWidow Lite TKL Tenkeyless Mechanical Keyboard i find it really good and its quite an experience. I have read some reviews that sound of clicking is too loud, maybe, but i find it soothing.

> 3 dayEDIT: Have been using this keyboard for almost 2 years now & used it extensively in Pandemic producitivty times of the tech industry(heavy typing) Initially I had problems with repeating keys. But I dont have that issue anymore. I dont know if I adopted in typing or the keyboard had a breakeven period. Eitherways, a very good keyboard at this price point. Yellow switches are really good. I have been using mechanical keyboards for years(esp red & blue switches) This is my first linear activation switch keyboard. So I will write my review (from last 4 hours of usage) into two parts: a) Keyboard: It is aesthetically built(along with reliable software) The key & keyboard quality is very high grade. The wrist support is also very comfortable. The RGB is highly customizable, but I havent explored much on it(I have a deathadder mouse and just duplicated its settings into keyboard as starting point) b) Yellow switches: It is kind of hit & miss. As I told I have used red & blue switch extensively and my typing is very accustomed to it. I am seeing character repetitions with yellow switch. It is because of the nature of this switch or the timing(displacement distance for registering the key stroke) I hope I wont be typing too many errors into my coding etc(as some things like ii can be caught by a compiler than eye during intensive coding/debugging sessions) I would recommend this keyboard is you are looking for something portable, beautiful and more over fancy gaming keyboard.

> 3 dayI love this keyboard! Before I bought this keyboard I was using a Blackwidow v3 mini hyperspeed and I love that keyboard. The form factor, buttery smooth switches and the weight even though its made out of plastic it almost didnt feel like it it definitely felt premium. To compare the two this keyboard feels much lighter and plastic feeling no heftiness to it really, but despite that man o man the switches here (silent linear) are pure gold also the space bar has no rattle on the sides or center like most big name gaming keyboards do, not sure if they added spacers and lubed the keys, but they mustve. Next, the magnetic wrist rest. Thats what drawn me towards this keyboard, I was looking for a magnetic leatherette wrist rest and boom razer didnt let me down comfy, soft and most important it seems pretty oil resistant(regarding skin oils). Take note, many here in the reviews say that the magnets arent strong enough, I would have to disagree with that, its legit perfect not sure why you would have to pry your wrist rest off of your keyboard, its strong enough to not move for intense games like comp fps. Its something that really brought this keyboard together. I would love to see this, though it most likely will never happen is adding this exact keyboard style with their hyperspeed tech (I would love this keyboard to be wireless). Also, added weight. Finally, modding this thing. Something I plan to add(but definitely not necessary for the average user)is EVA foam. That should help with any resonance which there isnt much at all. Also, razers doubleshot pbt keycaps.

> 3 dayI’ve read a lot of the reviews for this keyboard before purchasing and still purchased it hoping mine would be different considering I’ve bought many things in the past that had many bad reviews and I never had to complain about a thing. I just got it today so I don’t know yet if the keys stick like everyone else’s but I’ve been putting work through this since I’ve gotten it just to test it. So far I love it, the magnetic wrist pad is comfy as h***. The keys feel great and automatically it started installing drivers for the mouse when I hooked it up. I love it Edited March 4th. It’s been a week now and keyboard still feels amazing. I’ve done lots of hard gaming on here and even some pounding on the keyboard and yet to have not deal with anything like keys being double tapped or sticking. Still a great keyboard overall and well worth the money

> 3 dayThis is my first mechanical keyboard purchase after it came highly recommended from a friend who has the Razer Ultimate. I have used mechanical keyboards 20 years ago when I first got introduced to computers and the clicky sound of the keys was intriguing; and over the period of time silent keyboards took over my life and became a norm. I think this is a very well made keyboard and the keys are back-lit and responsive. I primarily use it for office work and occasional gaming. I type fast and some of the keyboards I have used in the past have a bouncy feel to them while some others have keys that have resistance built-in them; but this keyboard is not like that; the keys press so easily and retract back very quickly offering good tactile feedback...you type and you are ready for the next press allowing you to type so fast and accurately. The spacing of the keys is good too and the crunchy & clicky sound is like a rhythm for my mind and the ears wanting me to type more. This is Razers compact keyboard version and does not have a number pad; so not ideal for number crunchers. Dimensions of the keyboard is 14 x 5 x 0.5 inch (355 x 127 x 12.7 mm) and comes with a braided detachable cable. This is suppose to be a tactile & silent keyboard but in reality they are not quiet; they have that clicky sound to them which I desired most. However, it comes with orange colored sound dampeners (called O-rings) in the box which need to be put around the keys to keep them silent; I have not done that though. Overall, a great compact keyboard for a super fast typing experience if you can live without the number pad.

> 3 dayUpdate: Now that I know there is a much bigger world in mechanical keyboard, I see that this one is just an entry level cheaper-than-average keyboard. Considering the price, it is ok, but I want more, and more! I recommend to pay a little more and get a better quality keyboard in terms of feels and noise. So far, this keyboard is an outstanding experience for a new mechanical keyboard user. I’ve been using logitech K800, which uses scissor type low profile membrane keys, which works great with no wrist pain thanks to its extremely low profile, laptop-like keys. However, it lacks the fun, which I did not know there can be any fun in typing before I met this. Typing mechanical keys is so much more fun than typing the membrane keyboards. The mechanical key bounces back after being pressed, and that makes typing a lot more responsive and faster. Typing sound can be a matter of preference. Even though it uses orange keys, your coworkers may not like it. O-rings do not help much. It slightly reduces noise, but the typing feels better without it. The caveat is that the key height is much higher than my old low profile keyboard K800, so I am worried that there might be some fatigue in the wrist. I purchased a wrist pad as well, and so far it looks fine. If I ever purchase another mechanical keyboard, I would purchase the one with integrated wrist pad like the latest blackwidow v3.

> 3 dayReally superb all around keyboard. Price is great (I got it at $60), design is clean and not too in your face, which is welcome from Razer, build quality is solid, and quite pleased with the switches. The lettering looks really clean on the keyboard, and the backlighting is just right, not too bright or soft. Keyboard material, albeit seeming to be mostly plastic, still has a nice texture and premium feel to it. These Razer orange switches (brown equivalent) are wonderful and have made a noticeable difference for me when typing, both as a gamer and as a programmer. They are certainly an outright upgrade from the Outemu reds I had been using at my desk at home previously (I liked the smooth action but found I made a lot of mistakes with the low actuation force of the red switches), and Ill give them a slight edge in terms of personal preference for the softer switch action of the brown switch as opposed to the Cherry MX Blue switches I have in my keyboard at the office (currently not seeing much use, obviously). I am not ultra-sensitive to switch quality, I just prefer a keyboard with clean action and quality build, and after finally having given this style of switch a try I dont think I can go back. My only two *very minor* gripes are these: 1. Aesthetic from the side of the keyboard is a bit strange. The keycaps are very short in height and so the components underneath each key are visible, including the switch+switch housing. Seems like thats the aesthetic theyre going for, just not my personal taste, and its unnoticeable from above, which is where Im mostly seeing the keyboard from anyway. 2. Keyboard deck warped ever so slightly at one point so that it wasnt sitting flush with the desk. Not sure if this will resurface in the future, but I was able to unwarp it using raw man power (aka a very light bend back in the correct direction) and it has been sitting fine for over a week since I noticed the issue. These are not deal breakers in the slightest, just for others to be aware of when purchasing. Still love the keyboard, and certainly not worth subtracting a star.

> 3 dayFirst off, I am not a gamer. I bough this keyboard for my home office setup exclusively for work. Was tired of the slim, flat keyboards and wanted to have something that is better built. Took a little bit getting used to the full key press but once I did, everything is fine and dandy. I got the orange switch despite ordering yellow, (bummer Amazon) but chose to keep it. The included Synapse software is powerful but there is a bit of a learning curve. Pros: - Despite being ABS, keycaps are pretty good. Light shines through each letter perfectly - The key response time is excellent. Very little typo once you adjust to the spacing after spending a year on a laptop - Works perfectly fine (no lights) without the software on the work computer. If your company is allergic to installing third party stuff, you can still use the keyboard without the bells and whistles - PALM REST: I hated palm rests in the past, until I tried this one. It is just the right amount of soft, perfect size and the magnetic connection does not break Cons: - Honestly nothing to note so far, hence the 5* review

> 3 dayThis is the first Razor keyboard that I have ever owned and let me start by saying that it is by far the best (keyboard) that I have ever owned. I was slightly skeptical at first just because I have always seen of myself as more of an membrane and thin laptop esq. keyboard kinda guy. I think that part of my skepticism was due to the less than good keyboards that were in every computer lab, in every school.I could not have been more incorrect. Absolutely everything from the responsiveness & sound of the keys, to the removable & extremely comfy wrist rest, and the customization (of which I have lost countless hours playing with), is AMAZING! I literally cannot think of a single disappointing thing about this keyboard. It would be nice if for future iterations to add a couple things, such as wireless capabilities (wishful thinking, and is understandable why its not) and an extra USB port on the keyboard itself (something which the larger models already have). Those arent even complaints, just wishes that would make an already outstanding keyboard that much better. Also, just make sure that you (and others within earshot of your keyboard) are ready to make the commitment to loud clicky keys. Personally I love the sound the keys make and dont think that I could ever go back to something more quiet. My girlfriend however, does not feel the same, and finds them rather loud/annoying when she is in the same room as me.

> 3 dayI bought this to replace my corsair k65. After a month, I fell Inlove with this keyboard and I dont think Ill be looking to replace it any time soon. The build of this keyboard is decent. The base is a hard plastic which was ok. The wrist rest feels great althought I feel it gets in the way unless you adjust the keyboard height by adding the legs on the back. For the keycaps Ive never tried them because I replaced them with my own as soon as I got the keyboard. For gaming, this keyboard suits my preference but it could be different for you. This is somewhat of a bulky build for a TKL keyboard and is slightly bigger than the corsair k65. I have big hands so I needed the keys to be a little more spaced out or bigger because I kept mispressing 2 buttons and the blackwidow definitely made that happen a lot less. And finally the actuation switch is very fast. Im pretty sure its not the fastest but who really needs it to be faster. I could slightly rub my finger on the keycap and if the keycap gets pushed down a slight amount it will read that I pressed the key so you dont need to press the key down all the way at all for it to activate the switch. Overall I was more than satisfied.
