The most important thing is it runs well, although its showing its age: The pretty plastic streamers fall off a little at a time when its used, and we can no longer fold it for storage or retract the handle.

    Greater than one week

I ordered this looking at kids using this. But later had a feeling that I made a bad decision as my daughter (2 months to 4 years) is too young and has not used any 3 wheel cycle too. But to my surprise she loves this and in a matter of 3/4 days got very comfortable to use this. Its perfect for her. She gets up in the morning and first thing she does is grabbing it and holds on to this until she goes to bed. She goes from room to room with this scooter. And wherever she sits her cycle is next to her :-) Having said this, the scooter is just OK (after the height is adjusted) for adults. It keeps shaking and sometimes hard to balance. But I know, its not intended for adults. The brake should have been better with rubber friction than the aluminum pressing the back wheel directly, this would give a good grip. And there could be some rubber coating on outer side of the scooters base. It hurts whenever we unconsciously stumble on the scooter. The other sides are OK as its mostly rounded and smoothed; only the base has edges. I am saying this because this is meant for kids and good chances for them to put it haphazardly and we have practically experienced getting hit. I am not sure if you guys will agree with me. Anyway thanks for reading, and I recommend this for kids of 4-7 year age.

Had the last one for 3 years. Finally one of the handles padding broke off. I was not that much more to buy a new one then to replace the handles. My six year old loves the razor, so does my 4 year old that has her own, and to be honest I think its fun to ride too. Great to go to and from school and fun for our door playtime after school. Great product. One bit of advice, do not leave it out side. It will rust. I place ours in the garage while not in use. Other then that an A + kids toy that provides fun and exercise all at the same time.

My 5-year old is the 3rd kid, so she gets a lot of hand-me downs from her sisters. The Razor we bought years ago for to her oldest sister and passed down to the middle child had been sitting in the garage, totally neglected as those 2 moved on to riding their bikes. The handlebar covers had rotted off, it looked super dingy, wheels were really scuffed, etc. So I surprised her at Christmas with her own new Razor, and she was so excited to have her very own. This one appears to be just as sturdy and reliable as the original. My favorite part is that it requires zero assembly. Pulled it out of the box, slid it up to the right height, and locked it into place. She was immediately off to the races. Great gift, sure to create plenty of memories for her.

I bought this for my granddaughter. She loves it. Very easy to fold down and store in the garage or to put in the car to take to the park. She has spent hour playing with this scooter. My six-year old loves it. She got it for her birthday a month ago. Most of the tassels have fallen off and it does not fold/unfold consistently; I have to jiggle it around while holding the lever down and twisting things until it finally decides to pop open or closed. But other than that it’s good.

This is not what I wanted. The description said this was the original, instead I got a redesigned scooter that is meant for smaller children, clearly what the 5+ was for. I used to have this particular design from Razor and have been a 55 Mexican for at least 15 years since owning the original. I specifically remember being able to raise the handle bars well above my head and being able to place both my feet on the board. The handle bars on this model barely come up to my belt line and can not be raised any higher than that because there is a locking mechanism preventing this. What is even the point of the collar lock if you can barely raise the handle bars higher than the picture? Like, I seriously want to try and see if I can ride this thing the way it is, because I actually needed this thing, but Im afraid the company wont take it back if theres barely a scratch on the damn thing.

I love my Razor A Kick Scooter (pink) so much!!! In fact, the other day I was having a good time at my apartment practicing some tricks you know like bunny hops and other cool things and I guess I was having so much fun the neighbors werent about it and told me to keep it down and stop listening to old nelly throwbacks. So I guess the only NEGATIVE complaint I have about my Razor A Kick Scooter (Pink) would be that its too much fun for some people to handle but my recommendation is to suggest to those who complain about your indoor Razor A Kick Scootering (Pink) that they get a Razor A Kick Scooter (Pink) themselves because thats what I did to my neighbor and guess what???? He didnt get one (yet) but he seemed pretty interested in the idea and I even let him have a test run on mine. Another thing I noticed is that people tend to give you a lot of attention when riding your Razor A Kick Scooter (Pink) and it does cause a bit of jealousy especially when you ride it to a party, but you have just got to learn to accept the jealousy you know? Anyways definitely recommend best purchase ive made by far and its really enhanced my love life. Oh yeah one more negative!!! I am pretty tall so I am thinking this scooter may have been more suitable for those under the age of 18 but I find you actually earn street creed when you are able to ride your Razor A Kick Scooter (Pink) while squatting down because its a little more challenging, so for those of you worrying about the height just remember you will still look fly if you just squat a little!!!!

This is a sturdy little scooter. My four year old loves it. We got the helmet, elbow and knee pads and the biking gloves to go with it and he feels like he is really getting a fun time like the big kids. And the adjustable handlebars really makes a difference because he is in the upper percentiles for height. He hopped on and it took maybe an hour or two before he really got the hang of it and now he is going going going. Excellent workout, he enjoys it so much and I love that it is very sturdy as well. We also contacted customer service and they were really nice. No assembly required. Just take it out of the box and off you go on your way to fun!

OMG! OMG! OMG! This is what my 5 year old said when he opened it. This is the absolutely perfect scooter for someone 5 to 11, as long as they are under 140 pounds. He ran around the entire house all morning (you know what morning) riding it back and forth. For little guys like mine, I suggest a helmet and knee pads at least. He played cops and robbers on his cop motorcycle. He pretended to be racing on it. It is his indispensable favorite gift of 2014. This was even more popular than his train set which was a lot bigger and more expensive. You know you hit a great product when it can with stand the abuse of a 5 year old boy. It is very well made. I expect it to last for years. UPDATE: My son actually crashed because the handle bars are defective. He is okay, but I no longer recommend this for anyone under 8.

The Razor™ A folding kick scooter offers a fast and fun ride that easily folds down for storing or transport. The heat-treated, aircraft-grade aluminum construction includes a rear fender friction brake, folding handlebars and an enhanced finger guard. 98mm inline style wheels with ABEC 5 bearings provide a smooth ride. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
