> 3 dayMy daughter wanted a pink scooter for her 5th birthday. She had a 3-wheel scooter that was infrequesntly used, so I was reluctant about paying for one at this price point. When we opened the package, I was surprised at the quality of this scooter. Quality ball bearings in the wheels make it glide very easily. Its recommended for up to 140 lbs., yet it weights only 6 lbs. The handlebar height is easily adjusted and always stays at the set height once set. The base (standing area) is strong and light. To my surprise, my daughter really enjoys this scooter and now this has been her favorite outdoor activity for the last several months. I believe this is due to a combination of the easy glide ball bearings, light weight, and (of course), its pink.

> 3 day12-13 year old daughter loves it. She wont ride a bike so uses this all the time everywhere. The ad says for adults too but I think the handles dont go high enough. Daughter is 53 and not bent over but I am uncomfortable with it at 56, I want the handlebars higher. Its on the highest level setting for height. Great value and durability. Had it for about a year.

> 3 dayThis has been a great scooter for our 6 year old (who was 5 when we bought it last Christmas.) He rides it every day, which brings me to the only issue weve had with this product so far. The back wheel is completely worn--its actually squared off on the bottom. He does use it quite a bit, but I would have thought the wheel would last at least a year. For the price, though, this is a good product and the rest of the scooter has held up well.

> 3 dayI bought two of these for my kids for Christmas and I couldnt be more satisfied! They were so happy to see them under the tree and they have barely been off of them since. My 7 year old daughter was already proficient at riding them because her friends have a couple but it was my 4 year old sons first time and he had no problem getting it going to keep up with his sister! This particular model ( The A kick) is Razors classic and sort of base model but they are perfect for your little beginners. The build quality is sound and sturdy, fit and finish is very nice and function is right as it should be, simplicity keeping it a classic! I am 6 3 and 195lbs and I even jump on it from time to time, to get a laugh out of the kids, and this thing doesnt give in a bit! it rolls and performs just as it does with one of my kids on it. Solid frame, forgiving wheels and great bearings make this a great product. The rear fender even acts as a friction brake so when you step down on it contacts the rear wheel and smoothly stops or slows the scooter. The handlebars are fully adjustable and the whole thing folds down at the base of the handle bars making this thing a super small package that can easily fit in a backpack if necessary. Be sure to get the little ones a helmet and maybe some knee and elbow pads because as innocent and un assuming as these things seem, they will trip you up every now and then so be careful and have some fun! Im pretty sure Razor makes larger and fancier models of this scooter for bigger kids and they would be excellent to keep on a boat, r/v or even the trunk of that not so reliable car in the event you find yourself needing to take to foot! Overall, for this price, this was a great purchase!

> 3 dayI recieved this item and it is a great little kick scooter just as it is pictured and advertised to be BUT, they made a serious design flaw in that in order to save space when shipping they made the handles on the upper most bar that are used to steer and hold onto have been altered so they can be attached/removed for folding purposes with NO ABILITY TO MAINTAIN THEIR INTEGRITY TO REMAIN IN PLACE. As a result of this my youngest daughter was kick scooting down the street and she was holding onto the handle bars for control and stability she inadvertantly thumbed the release buttons making the bars she was holding onto spin and them slip out and away from the T neck assembly giving her no control as well as any support to keep her from falling forward into the upright bar itself and ultimately falling face first onto the pavement knocking her front teeth out!! I was shocked, scared, and in a horrific nightmare as I watched without being able to do a thng as it all happened in the blink of an eye, but upon recounting the event over and over in my head and in my dreams(make that nightmares) keeping me awake OR waking me, it seemed like hours watching my beautiful baby girl come crashing to the pavement face first after busting her face on the T bar which holds the handles. There isnt even a safety device which can lock these into position only a very easily pushed button which leaves any child and parent completly helpless as they watch their child crash to the street!! I am having the scooter analyzed by an engineer and will be contacting Amazon directly to gain a recall on these dangerous scooters!!. My older daughter had the same scooter BUT the handle bars were solid at the top making it a solid T that could only be safely tightened into an upper or lower position and just like this one it also folded through the use of a latch. Razor made a serious design flaw making the handles so unwisely and unsafely useless by adding these buttons to them just to save six inches of boxing material or space for shipping/packaging and is just down right silly, unsafe and irreasponsible!! I will post pics as to the nature of my daughters scooter so all parents will be able to see the safety concern as well as my other daughters older version the original one that did not use this dangerous method to aid in the lower cost of boxing materials for packaging/shipping where the money saved is paid by yours/ours childrens faces and or safety!! I am extremely upset and will also be bringing this to the FTC as well as the H.R. 5818 (98th): Toy Safety Act of 1984 Introduced: Jun 11, 1984 98th Congress, 1983–1984 Status: Enacted — Signed by the President on Oct 17, 1984 This bill was enacted after being signed by the President on October 17, 1984.Law: Pub.L. 98-491 An act to enable the Consumer Product Safety Commission to protect the public by ordering notice and repair, replacement or refund of certain toys or articles intended for use by children if such toys or articles contain a defect which creates a substantial risk of injury to children.

> 3 dayJust presented two scooters to twin granddaughters, age 4. They still need some practice, but so far these are a big hit with them. The handle is set at lowest height, but love that it adjusts taller as they grow. Love the ease with which the scooters collapse so we can transport in car to the park to ride.

Greater than one weekI purchased this scooter for my 6 yr old who is moving up from the Razor Jr three wheeled scooter. He is super cautious and not a huge dare devil but wanted one of these as soon as he saw his Sisters older friends had the same one at the skate park. We have had it a few weeks now and he has already learned how to balance on it although he is still a bit cautious. The wheels are very small and hard so its kind of difficult to go on the sidewalk with it because you literally feel every single bump in the street and if you hit a rock youre likely to go flying sideways... We keep to the smooth surface of the skate park and a concrete walkway at our local park and he loves it! Its easy to fold up but small enough that you dont even need to fold it to put it in the car. I like that they come in different colors so he and his sister can tell which one is theirs. Right now the handle is about half way pulled up, so there is still a good bit of room to grow. Im 5 4 and over 150lbs and can easily ride it too, so I know it will last a while... Im hoping that as soon as he gets comfortable with his balance on the scooter, we can transfer that to riding his bike without training wheels!

> 3 dayI bought this pink Razor scooter for my 4 year old daughter. I thought about buying a little plastic princess scooter for less but ended up choosing this instead and figured she can grow into it. At 4 years old, it is a bit too loose in the steering for her to manage and scares her a bit. I think within the next year it will be great though. It is also a bit too high for her (she is on the shorter side for her age). Overall it is a great scooter and I would recommend... just depends on the childs ability and size.

> 3 dayAs far as scooters go this is the standard by which all are judged. Sturdy and even (though definitely not advised) an adult could ride it they are so ruggedly made. They are rated to 143 lbs. Set up is easy as they fold like a jack knife. Just unfold it, telescope the handle to the right height, and lock it all down and you are ready to go. Elapsed time under a minute. To store just reverse the procedure. It took longer to get it out of the box than it does to assemble. The best part is the kids love these. They can go fast with minimal effort. The learning curve for a 5 year old is about 10 to 15 minutes to be able to ride. In addition, we see young teens still riding them at the local skate park doing tricks. So not only does the product last but so does the fun. A must have for most kids.
