As far as scooters go this is the standard by which all are judged. Sturdy and even (though definitely not advised) an adult could ride it they are so ruggedly made. They are rated to 143 lbs. Set up is easy as they fold like a jack knife. Just unfold it, telescope the handle to the right height, and lock it all down and you are ready to go. Elapsed time under a minute. To store just reverse the procedure. It took longer to get it out of the box than it does to assemble. The best part is the kids love these. They can go fast with minimal effort. The learning curve for a 5 year old is about 10 to 15 minutes to be able to ride. In addition, we see young teens still riding them at the local skate park doing tricks. So not only does the product last but so does the fun. A must have for most kids.

My Nephew loves it! Hes only 4yrs old but he rides it like a pro! He easily learned how to get it balance, the scooter is good but not that rugged but its a good value for money and I dont know and not sure how long it is gonna last because it was made in China!

I bought one two years ago for one child (6 years old then). My younger child (turned 4 recently) kept using her sisters, so I got exact same one again. They love these and I love it, because we can go for long walks with our dogs. Its well made, easy to use, easy to store, and just lot of fun. Age 4 and up could use it. It did get rust spots here and there, so store indoor if possible ( we kept it out of rain but its very humid in FL; rust spots didnt effect the performance).

I was looking through my history of orders & saw this purchase of my Son’s Scooter. I thought I must write a review! My purchase was over 3 years ago & this scooter still scoots! My Son is now 14yo & still does his scooting. Not as much as he once did but this scooter is still durable, sturdy & beautifully designed. It shows wear & tear but nothing it couldn’t handle. I also recall taking it out of the box & the easy assembly. So if you’re in doubt on what scooter to buy I have to say this is the one. It was worth every penny I paid! I hope this helps in you making a decision. Highly recommend!!

One of my grandsons had received a green Razor A Kick Scooter for Christmas five years ago. It is still going strong! A few weeks ago his younger brother, now five, wanted one too. I searched for a few days trying to find one, but only found it on Amazon! Amazon delivered as promised, and the grandsons have had a ball with them! These Scooters are almost indestructible! Theyre great fun! They give the grandkids a break from school work or chores, and they teach the boys how to respect themselves, the product, and the environment around them (with a little help from the grownups, of course). I would recommend the Razor A Kick Scooter to anyone who loves watching children get exercise, learn discipline and respect for self and others, and have tons of fun! It truly is a good teaching tool--and an almost indestructible product!

Just presented two scooters to twin granddaughters, age 4. They still need some practice, but so far these are a big hit with them. The handle is set at lowest height, but love that it adjusts taller as they grow. Love the ease with which the scooters collapse so we can transport in car to the park to ride.

I bought this pink Razor scooter for my 4 year old daughter. I thought about buying a little plastic princess scooter for less but ended up choosing this instead and figured she can grow into it. At 4 years old, it is a bit too loose in the steering for her to manage and scares her a bit. I think within the next year it will be great though. It is also a bit too high for her (she is on the shorter side for her age). Overall it is a great scooter and I would recommend... just depends on the childs ability and size.

I ordered this looking at kids using this. But later had a feeling that I made a bad decision as my daughter (2 months to 4 years) is too young and has not used any 3 wheel cycle too. But to my surprise she loves this and in a matter of 3/4 days got very comfortable to use this. Its perfect for her. She gets up in the morning and first thing she does is grabbing it and holds on to this until she goes to bed. She goes from room to room with this scooter. And wherever she sits her cycle is next to her :-) Having said this, the scooter is just OK (after the height is adjusted) for adults. It keeps shaking and sometimes hard to balance. But I know, its not intended for adults. The brake should have been better with rubber friction than the aluminum pressing the back wheel directly, this would give a good grip. And there could be some rubber coating on outer side of the scooters base. It hurts whenever we unconsciously stumble on the scooter. The other sides are OK as its mostly rounded and smoothed; only the base has edges. I am saying this because this is meant for kids and good chances for them to put it haphazardly and we have practically experienced getting hit. I am not sure if you guys will agree with me. Anyway thanks for reading, and I recommend this for kids of 4-7 year age.

I bought two of these for my kids for Christmas and I couldnt be more satisfied! They were so happy to see them under the tree and they have barely been off of them since. My 7 year old daughter was already proficient at riding them because her friends have a couple but it was my 4 year old sons first time and he had no problem getting it going to keep up with his sister! This particular model ( The A kick) is Razors classic and sort of base model but they are perfect for your little beginners. The build quality is sound and sturdy, fit and finish is very nice and function is right as it should be, simplicity keeping it a classic! I am 6 3 and 195lbs and I even jump on it from time to time, to get a laugh out of the kids, and this thing doesnt give in a bit! it rolls and performs just as it does with one of my kids on it. Solid frame, forgiving wheels and great bearings make this a great product. The rear fender even acts as a friction brake so when you step down on it contacts the rear wheel and smoothly stops or slows the scooter. The handlebars are fully adjustable and the whole thing folds down at the base of the handle bars making this thing a super small package that can easily fit in a backpack if necessary. Be sure to get the little ones a helmet and maybe some knee and elbow pads because as innocent and un assuming as these things seem, they will trip you up every now and then so be careful and have some fun! Im pretty sure Razor makes larger and fancier models of this scooter for bigger kids and they would be excellent to keep on a boat, r/v or even the trunk of that not so reliable car in the event you find yourself needing to take to foot! Overall, for this price, this was a great purchase!
