Greater than one weekPlastic cracked within the operating and closure mechanism. Resulted in the otherwise good umbrella to stop opening/closing as designed. With this part broken, unable to repair/repack the umbrella even if glue/epoxy an option because spring mechanism is too unwieldy without a jig. Update: company is replacing it under their lifetime warranty

> 3 dayIn all honesty I haven’t had the opportunity to see how it fares on a windy day, and that’s the reason I bought it. I based it on the sturdiness of other umbrellas I have had. One thing I don’t care for is how fast it opens and closes. It shoots open with a snap. Watch your fingers! That’s the reason I gave it four stars.

Greater than one weekSo I bought this umbrella two years ago, I didnt notice that I was wrongly using the button to extend the umbrella (pressing it while the strap was still holding it closed), and ended up breaking it. I remembered that the umbrella came with a warranty so I contacted the company and they send me a new one pretty quickly. I was very happy with their customer service that i ended buy another one for my family.

> 3 dayIts okay, not wonderful and not terrible. Its a little heavy for traveling, but theres not much they can do about that and still have it be sturdy. Like all such umbrellas, you have to close it by hand. But its adequate. Time will tell how long it lasts.
