This is a tad heavier than most umbrellas Ive used, but it is very sturdy. Very quick and easy to expand. You need a bit of strength to close it up. For 90% of us, this umbrella is perfect.

Its okay, not wonderful and not terrible. Its a little heavy for traveling, but theres not much they can do about that and still have it be sturdy. Like all such umbrellas, you have to close it by hand. But its adequate. Time will tell how long it lasts.

I would like to share an experience with Repel Umbrella and its terrific customer service. I purchased an umbrella in March 2021. A few weeks ago one of the ribs broke so I reached out to them on their website. I explained the problem and asked if the damaged umbrella qualified for a free exchange covered by the lifetime warranty. I heard back less than 12 hours later with a sincere apology and a yes to the replacement umbrella. I supplied the information they asked for the next day and received an email within a few hours containing the shipping information. The new umbrella is due on 7/5 three days after my initial contact. A great big thank you to Carroll who handled my claim, to the warehouse for the quick turnaround, and to Justine for following up the next day. I will definitely be purchasing another umbrella from Repel. Well done everyone.

This umbrella was suggested by Wirecutter that does important research on items they recommend. Definitely glad I bought it.

I purchased this to take to Europe but it was much larger and heavier than anticipated so I bought another one that was smaller and lighter. However, I liked this umbrella so much I kept it for regular use. It is heavy duty, pretty, and I like the push button open and close feature.

When I received the umbrella, one of the first things I noticed is that the one I got, black and red colorway, was not a double canopy umbrella, contradicting what is said in the images with the product. I purchased the pink umbrella a separate time, and that one is double canopy. Im chalking this up to some false advertising, at least for this color. Unless there is actually a black and red umbrella with a double canopy, and I mistakenly got an older or different model. I was able to first use it in a rain event recently, and it was not able to hold up to the small gusts. It went inside out almost immediately, and as of now, it seems undamaged, but I dont think this umbrella will survive continuous use in that kind of environment.

The umbrella seems very sturdy and love the color(baby blue). Will update once I have the opportunity to use it.

This umbrella is large when open for a travel umbrella that collapses. It is better than the travel umbrella I had. I am very pleased.

Really like sturdy and dependable.. the only thing I would have wished is that the long piece that you hold the umbrella up with was longer it’s really short. Overall so far so good. I also really like that all you have to do is hit the button and it pulls the umbrella down.

Great umbrella for the price but did not last 2 windy days. It flipped backwards and I flipped it back to normal but a day later it flipped completely in reverse. 3 stars because the size was good but very weak through light windy rain.
