Perfect to keep my chickens warm in the Winter and not have a blaring light in their eyes!

The red nighttime heating lamp that I previously used to keep my bearded dragon Spike warm at night broke so as a change of pace I decided to try a no light ceramic heat bulb instead. This one arrived quickly in great shape - while fragile it is not as delicate as glass bulbs. I screwed it in to the dome reflector I already had and it heated right up. It emits just the amount of heat he needs to stay warm and digest his food without getting too hot or making me worry about burning. During the day I have even set up a little system under a table he likes in my home office while I work as he likes to get out of his aquarium and roam. When he gets chilly he can just go back to his heat pads, this lamp and the UV (not heat but the sunshine he needs for Vitamin D). See photo. Great option to replace heat lamps -- lasts forever -- unlike bulbs which seem to burn out in a month or two.

This is NOT a UL-listed product as described. This is the only reason I purchased this bulb but it is only CE certified, not by UL. I was gonig to return it since I put it back into the box right after I saw there was no UL labeling but forgot and its been about a month now.

Its the style of bulb I need for the lamp I have. we use this in a chicken coupe, works as expected. Great price compared to local brick and mortar competitors
