> 3 dayReally works! Strangely tho, our cat - who we bought it for - doesn’t sleep near it - go figure.

> 3 dayI will never go back to red bulbs for heat, only ceramic. I needed this along with a 60w day bulb for my crocodile skink and its great at maintaining 70-85 degrees F in an 18x18x18 tank. You do however need a lamp that points it straight down, not sideways like some hoods do. The benefits of ceramic emitters are the lack of light for true darkness and the longevity of them. Red bulbs blow out too frequent, but Ive had ceramics for years.

> 3 dayThis is nice to keep something warm without cooking it. No light, only heat.

> 3 dayI was trying to use this to heat my bearded dragon tank and as a basking lamp but the bulb watt was way too low for what I need and it didn’t get real hot to begin with. The bulb didn’t have any visible damages to it. Just not hot enough.
