> 3 dayThis product works well for heating my pets area. The only I would recommend is that they spend the extra money to certify the product to meet UL standards.

Greater than one weekI use this for my ball pythons tank. It keeps it at a perfect temperature. It stay warm, and does not emit light. It has lasted for around 4 months, and is still lasting.

> 3 dayI hd never seen these before and I’m happy I found them! Perfect to keep my tortoise tank at the right temp during the winter. They seem to love it. So much better than the light bulb version.

> 3 dayI use this on my 50 gallon leopard gecko tank to keep temps during the night (and day, too) warm enough since my house temps drop below 65°F. Got a ceramic dome and adjustable fixture for it too! Works great

21-04-2025This is weak enough that you don’t need a rheostat if you have a large enclosure and have an infrared thermometer to make sure it doesn’t overheat. Note: from my testing, the 60W rating is for 110V. My home tends to have 118-120V, so this bulb on full blast uses 65-66W. If you have a small enclosure, I recommend getting a rheostat. If I put it on full power, the substrate surface gets up to about 100°F, which isn’t actually a problem for my type of reptile, but I prefer to use it at 45W, which keeps the surface temperature around 91-95°F
