> 24 hourMy Cavalier King Charles Spaniel lays on one of these all the time with a thin towel over it to cool off and keep from panting and overheating. Large enough for her whole body. She sleeps on one every night and sits on one in her stroller. We live in the southern USA and its hot. This is her instant relief. Cooling mats are a joke. Use an ice pack for your long haired doggie. Just keep rotating them out in the freezer.
