Greater than one weekThis gel pack is a good size and seems to be very well made.. kind of weighty and thick compared to most packs Ive used in the past.. which I assume is the reason it stays so cold for such a long time. Not very flexible when using right out of the freezer.. it has to thaw a bit before it will conform to your body parts.. hence the reason for the 4 stars.

We went to a chain drugstore and found one that was half the size of this one and made out of plastic for DOUBLE the price. I found this one on Amazon and it arrived in ONE DAY. We were both impressed at how nice this item is. It is large enough to treat the entire lower back area at once. It is flexible and covered in a very durable (it seems) but soft material. Once frozen for the initial recommended 2 hours it remains flexible enough to wrap around a leg or arm if needed. Really a very very nice ice pack at a wonderful price.
