My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel lays on one of these all the time with a thin towel over it to cool off and keep from panting and overheating. Large enough for her whole body. She sleeps on one every night and sits on one in her stroller. We live in the southern USA and its hot. This is her instant relief. Cooling mats are a joke. Use an ice pack for your long haired doggie. Just keep rotating them out in the freezer.

Wanted something to cover my hip replacement area. This size is perfect. Very pliable right out of freezer. With so many choices... glad I purchased this one.

I think this may actually get colder than ice. Comparing the two, ice and this pack, this seems to actually feel colder! I dont think the coldness last as long, but that seems to be pretty typical of these gel pack types. Size is good, if you have a large area to cover ( like your whole back for example) or are a large person, this may could seem smaller than needed, but overall a great pack and would certainly recommend it!

I bought this 3 years ago following a knee replacement and was happy with it. I just had a knee revision two weeks ago and borrowed an ice machine from a neighbor. I had heard such great things about the machine but I have not been happy with it for several reasons. I drug out these ice packs to try again. Much better. Keeps it colder for longer.

This is an excellent gel pack with only one flaw. Its too heavy. The heaviness is not comfortable to put on an joint that was recently operated on. The gel pack is good just a little to heavy.

My friend lent me her medical grade/expensive ice pack until I bought this one. This is every bit as nice; Im impressed. May buy another as a spare. When I am hunched doing a project for a long period of time, such as gardening or not sitting straight with arms outstretched in front of me, my middle back spasms for days. If I lay on this ice pack when I go to bed, the spasm/inflammation is GONE.

I borrowed my friends Resters Choice large ice pack and it did the trick by easing my pain after a fall. Now I have mine in the freezer and hope I dont need it for a long time.

Works great! Retains the cold temp beautifully, >1hr still cool. Initial placement is almost too cold and I need a thick or double towel layer plus clothes on to tolerate but I LOVE IT! And it’s durable for when I forget about it and step on it or squish it with something heavy. Only thing I would say is a strap to better hold in place would be nice but after surgery I wasn’t moving much. LOVE IT!
