> 3 dayHad surgery and needed to ice my hip periodically throughout the day. These are super nice. The bend perfectly to your body that needs icing.

> 3 dayThis gel pack is a good size and seems to be very well made.. kind of weighty and thick compared to most packs Ive used in the past.. which I assume is the reason it stays so cold for such a long time. Not very flexible when using right out of the freezer.. it has to thaw a bit before it will conform to your body parts.. hence the reason for the 4 stars.

> 3 dayThis thing is fabulous. I had suffered for months & months with neck issues and ended up having 4 level neck surgery. I had purchased a few different t ice packs saying they lasted hours etc…they did NOT. However this thing not only lasts it’s flat & a nice size so it reaches my shoulders as well which also hurt all the time. I would buy another in a heartbeat if anything happens to this one. But so far so good! And it was in sale for $10 too! Can’t beat that price!

Greater than one weekI just bought this so no leaking so far. I just sprained my ankle and this was very helpful. I had been using one of those plastic bags you put in a cooler and it was lumpy and painful to use. I used the gel pack (I bought the 5 x 10) on my ankle and it was so much more comfortable. I also used it on my knees and shoulder. It didnt stay cold long, but long enough for all that.

> 3 dayThe ice packs are well made. They freeze in two hours. I use them nightly for restless leg syndrome. They are flexible when frozen and can also be heated in the microwave. I hope that they last a long time.

Disappointed
Greater than one weekThis is an excellent gel pack with only one flaw. Its too heavy. The heaviness is not comfortable to put on an joint that was recently operated on. The gel pack is good just a little to heavy.

> 3 dayIts not going to do more for pain relief than any other source of cold will (if I need assistance with pain, thats what pain pills of various kinds are for), but sometimes you just need to ice your muscles or tendons down and this works well for that. During spring my achilles tendons were giving me issues, so I threw this thing in the freezer and then after it froze I pulled it out, laid down with a thin sheet over the affected area and laid the ice pack over both of my legs and let the cold do its thing. That helped me with getting my tendon inflammation down so that I could carefully stretch my legs and work them back into no longer having inflamed tendons. Along the way this product did what I needed it to, what it was supposed to, and is a very good ice pack. I wouldnt use it for raw meat at a barbeque for example, but thats what cheap plastic ice packs are for. Wash those in some cleaning product, or rinse them with rubbing alcohol or whatever and theyre back to sanitized. These things are made of durable fabric and have a gel that freezes to a near-solid state, so even while theyre fully frozen they still kind of malleable. If I recall right it also has heating instructions on it, but I havent used it as a heating pad so I cant really say anything other than: I expect it to work for such with a similar level of excellence. Follow the instructions it comes with, and are printed on it, and it will serve you well for its intended uses.

> 3 dayHighly recommend getting the double pack. These are large enough, I tossed it over the back of my recliner, and rested my neck and the back of my head on it. Bliss, for the first time in days worth of migraine pain. Plus they get frosty FAST. If one warms up, I pull the second out, if I end up needing it again, the first is already frozen again. Yet still soft and comfy to put my head on. These are large enough(think almost standard heating pad size) to use for back pain, leg, shoulder, ect. Very happy with these!

Greater than one weekI think this may actually get colder than ice. Comparing the two, ice and this pack, this seems to actually feel colder! I dont think the coldness last as long, but that seems to be pretty typical of these gel pack types. Size is good, if you have a large area to cover ( like your whole back for example) or are a large person, this may could seem smaller than needed, but overall a great pack and would certainly recommend it!
