> 24 hourI originally purchased this as a departure from my usual 8bitdo brand as this was the official wireless controller for the Genesis Mini (and I was concerned my usual brand wouldn’t be compatible). When I first got it, it worked great! I generally play for short stints (30 to 45 min) a couple times a week, and I didn’t have any issues; the buttons and d-pad feel responsive and sharp, the controller is lightweight, and battery is sufficient. After 2 months of light use, imagine my surprise to find that the battery no longer carries a charge for longer than a day or two! Every time I want to play I have to plug the controllers into MicroUsb for a solid hour+ I’m very disappointed in the quality control

> 24 hourGreat product that lets us experience being eleven again without the limitation of cables. It’s nice sitting on the couch and playing Sonic on an identical Genesis controller and not having to sit on the floor. The lack of crooked neck pain makes it worth purchasing. Good value for hours of fun.

> 24 hourI wanted to add a review because I saw mixed information about whether this worked with the Sega Genesis mini 2 console. I just tested it, and it does work. Im not sure why I didnt work for the other reviewers. I assume it would for the first Genesis mini as well.

> 24 hourI ordered this controller for my Genesis mainly because I wanted a more modern wireless solution. This controller does not disappoint. It comes with a nice case, a charging cable (micro-usb, why not usb-C?), and transmitters for both USB and for the Genesis 9-pin. So not only can I use it on the Genesis, but I can also use it on my PC. I also really like the way this controller feels in my hands, especially compared to the bulky three-button original Genesis controller. This one just fits nicely in my hands.

> 24 hourAbsolutely amazing packing and fulfillment. It felt very nostalgic opening it up. Quality materials. I wanted to write this review explicitly to say what a great job you guys are doing. It took me right back to the 90s. The case you pack it in is incredible. Keep doing what you are doing.

> 24 hourWorks right out of the box, unlike other wireless Sega controllers. Comes in a nice display case. Really well made very happy.

> 24 hourThis works well on all the devices I have tested or played with it on (PC, Switch, Sega Genesis). I somehow actually missed the fact it had a genesis dongle when I bought it (I originally just wanted it for PC/Switch) so that was a pleasent surprise. I do not experience any input lag when using it. The button presses and d-pad feel are great, really close to how they used to feel. Plastic feels about close, too. Controller is really light, but thats not an issue, youll just notice as soon as you handle an original controller. I havent had any issues with battery life or play time yet, but I only play for a couple hours at most. Packaging was fantastic, the storage container is great. Overall definitely got my moneys worth out of this one.

> 24 hourLove the Retrobit take on the wireless version for one of my favorite pads of all time. I got the Saturn 2.4ghz first to see if it would pass the test (Panzer Dragoon) and the results are no lag or disconnecting during gameplay. So had to grab this one while it was available and honestly, I actually like the feel of this one better, marginally. If there was one thing that Retrobit could change, I’d say come out with some additional colors besides the few that’s currently out in the market. If they remain consistent on their firmware updates, then I def can see myself using this pad for a long time!

> 24 hourThis is a very good controller. The d-pad and buttons feel great. The only downside is that the controller is not as comfortable to hold as the 8BitDo M30, but if you’re not familiar with that controller, I don’t think you’d be disappointed by the Retro-Bit controller.
