Greater than one weekOnly lasted a few days of play before the d-pad broke. It looks fantastic though, love the design. Currently processing an exchange for a new one. So hopefully this next one lasts many years, instead of many minutes. Update: Been using the replacement on the regular now and it hasnt broke. Fantastic controller, love that it connects to both PC and Genesis with minimal effort.

> 3 dayThis joystick model doesnt have cord, of course, its a wireless joystick. Very good for both old sega genesis as genesis minis and othes devices like PCs.

> 3 dayWhen I first got it the sega dongle was defective. Seller sent me a replacement dongle. Had to sync it on a genesis model 2 and it worked fine (syncing instructions included are incorrect. After turning both on and hitting sync buttons you have to hit start on the controller to get it to actually sync). After I had the controller synced to the dongle I moved it to the AT GENESIS I had intended to use it on when I bought it. The AT GENESIS would only read the dongle for a second and turn off the dongle. Maybe there will be an update to that dongle later on allowing it to work on the preloaded sega genesis consoles but for now it doesnt work on them.

> 3 dayBuy this right away! Works perfect. Pairs very easy. Feels just like an original 6 button controller. I played UMK3 and had no issues. I will be ordering another.

Greater than one weekAn ideal product. The 2.4-GHz version has less input lag than the Bluetooth version (I experienced no perceivable lag while using the 2.4-GHz version), and the controller just feels great. Exactly like the original, except wireless. Its nice that this version comes with the adapters as well, so you can use it with the original console or with newer compatible systems.

> 3 dayGreat controller that is almost identical to the 90s counterpart. One of my 2 controllers came with a bad USB cable, but other than that they are great.

> 3 dayI purchased this wireless controller recently to use with my PC and I was hoping it would also work with my Atari. Great news! It works. So lets start with the good things: The look and the packaging are both outstanding. It comes with a nice case that holds the controller, the 2 dongles, USB cord and manual. It works with a wide variety of systems, including the Atari 2600 and 7800 (one-button only). I have yet to test on my Atari computer and original Genesis, but those should work fine with it too. Now for some not-so-good things: the controller is very light, which seems a bit odd. I never had this particular model of wired Genesis controller, so I cant really compare it though. Actually the only Genesis controller I have is a wired Hyperkin 6-button which is bigger and seems heavier. They could have put some weights in it. Just sayin. But the worst thing about this controller has to do with pairing. It should be automatic, and many times it is not. The controller and receiver lose their connection somewhat quickly when power is shut off to the system, then they need to be paired again by holding down buttons on both the dongle and controller. This is not so much of an issue on the PC, where you can switch games and emulators quickly without ever shuttling down the system, but with a console, you typically have to. I found that on the Atari 2600, if you swap out cartridges quickly (within 10 seconds or so) it will usually automatically re-pair itself. It didnt always do that on the Atari 7800 however and I had to fight with the pairing buttons again. Also, with emulators on the PC, you will have to go into the settings and manually configure some of them (for example, in Stella, you will have to set the inputs to move up or down manually). Anyway, for $35, I was expecting a little better. For a comparison, the Blue Lake wireless PS2 controllers, while not Genesis compatible, are half the price, work great with PCs, and always pair automatically.
