> 3 dayThis looks and feels like the original, but has the advantage of wireless. The packaging was very nice too. We will be buying more.

> 3 daySo recently I got the Mega SG from Analogue. Ive been using my official old wired 6 Button Genesis controller. But you know I wanted to try a wireless option. I saw that these were also officially licensed by Sega so I was like sure Ill give them a shot. And I must say Im extremely impressed. While the buttons and D-pad were slightly stiffer than a 25+ year old controller, the weight and feel of it were nearly identical. So much so I actually forgot I wasnt using my old wired controller and was using the new controller I bought. Just because it wasnt as loose as my original pad, doesnt mean it didnt perform just as well, and in a similar function. No D-pad issues, no button issues. No problems doing SRKs and Hadoukens in Street Fighter. It also is extremely fast to sync up. Over all Id give the controller a 10 out of 10. For being extremely faithful to the original, no input delay that I could tell, and it was extremely easy syncing up with the receivers. Though admittedly Ive only used the Genesis receiver, and not the usb one that also came with it. My only minor issue I had was trying to update the firmware in the Genesis Receiver. But it ended up working in the end, and was actually probably my computer, more so than the devices fault.

Greater than one weekThe feel of it. It doesnt feel cheap. The buttons are pretty responsive with no lag or at least no noticeable lag.

> 3 dayThis is great for the genesis mini console. The wireless works well, no noticeable input lag and the controller feels good. That being said, the dongles for the actual Genesis console seem to be poorly designed in that you cant plug them both in without some angled USB adapter because the space between the two isnt wide enough to plug in a regular micro USB to provide it power.

> 3 dayI purchased this wireless controller recently to use with my PC and I was hoping it would also work with my Atari. Great news! It works. So lets start with the good things: The look and the packaging are both outstanding. It comes with a nice case that holds the controller, the 2 dongles, USB cord and manual. It works with a wide variety of systems, including the Atari 2600 and 7800 (one-button only). I have yet to test on my Atari computer and original Genesis, but those should work fine with it too. Now for some not-so-good things: the controller is very light, which seems a bit odd. I never had this particular model of wired Genesis controller, so I cant really compare it though. Actually the only Genesis controller I have is a wired Hyperkin 6-button which is bigger and seems heavier. They could have put some weights in it. Just sayin. But the worst thing about this controller has to do with pairing. It should be automatic, and many times it is not. The controller and receiver lose their connection somewhat quickly when power is shut off to the system, then they need to be paired again by holding down buttons on both the dongle and controller. This is not so much of an issue on the PC, where you can switch games and emulators quickly without ever shuttling down the system, but with a console, you typically have to. I found that on the Atari 2600, if you swap out cartridges quickly (within 10 seconds or so) it will usually automatically re-pair itself. It didnt always do that on the Atari 7800 however and I had to fight with the pairing buttons again. Also, with emulators on the PC, you will have to go into the settings and manually configure some of them (for example, in Stella, you will have to set the inputs to move up or down manually). Anyway, for $35, I was expecting a little better. For a comparison, the Blue Lake wireless PS2 controllers, while not Genesis compatible, are half the price, work great with PCs, and always pair automatically.

> 3 dayEasy to use, true form and feel to OEM, simple directions for pairing w/ different devices, super slick holding case. I use it on my old model 2 Genesis and the new mini. Works great on both.

> 3 dayAn ideal product. The 2.4-GHz version has less input lag than the Bluetooth version (I experienced no perceivable lag while using the 2.4-GHz version), and the controller just feels great. Exactly like the original, except wireless. Its nice that this version comes with the adapters as well, so you can use it with the original console or with newer compatible systems.

> 3 dayI recently acquired a highly customized Stainless Steel Cased Neo Geo MVS console. It has controller ports for the original Neo Geo, Sega Saturn, Sega Genesis and PlayStation 2. I cant find any Neo Geo wireless controllers and highly doubt they ever existed. I had used wireless PlayStation 2 controllers several years ago but all that I could find available now run on two AAA batteries. I wanted a solution that would work with my port options and be rechargeable. This gave me the choice of the Retro-Bit Sega Genesis (this model) or the Retro-Bit Sega Saturn wireless controllers. Both models are available with or without the extra USB dongle. I decided to buy the model with the extra USB dongle. My reasoning for buying the dual purpose model was I had a lot of doubt this would work on my Neo Geo console. If it didnt work, I could at least use it with a PC. Now that I know it works perfectly, I will probably give the Retro-Bit Sega Saturn model a try. Im glad I took a chance because now I can play my Neo Geo console with a wireless controller. The button layout isnt exactly where I would put them but very close. The Start button is still the Start button and the Select button adds coins to continue. Pressing Start and Select at the same time gets me into my BIOS to make changes there if I want. The same BIOS menu can act as Pause. All things considered, I think its about as perfect a solution as I could hope for. I dont own a Sega Genesis but I did use it a bit on PC running retro games with emulators and I find it great for that purpose as well. I have no doubts it would work on an original Sega Genesis and it does make a decent PC controller for emulators. If you need a controller for either, this is a good choice.

Greater than one weekVery disappointed with this controller; quite the let-down really. This controller was SO close to perfect. Dont let great feeling and quality external appearances fool you, the internals of these controllers are complete junk. Had 2 different new in box units delivered to me that were BOTH DOA. While the receivers both worked in both instances, the controllers themselves were stone-dead refusing to connect when plugged in directly with USB cable or even take a charge. Highly suggest 8bitdos M30 for OG Sega Genesis instead. While it doesnt follow as closely in design and styling vs. this product which is licensed by Sega, it works at the very least and at that, reliably and consistently.
