I love the product and one of the important features is that it claims to be made in the USA. If thats true, why is my shipment being Delayed at Customs.

So so so GOOD. Ive been using Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein Double Rich Chocolate for a while now and wanted to switch it up, and Im happy I did. Rule 1 is a lot more sweet with a more rich taste. Very good and if youre looking for a new chocolate protein for good value give this a try!

Mixes well and taste great

I tried several different brands, and Rule 1 whey isolate is the best I have tried in my 11 years of lifting. The flavor is REALLY good, and the texture is milky smooth. It also mixes really well with yogurt, which makes it really easy to meet my daily protein goal. This is slightly more expensive than Pro Action Recor, which I feel is the best value, so I only buy Rule 1 when I am going through cutting cycles because it is somewhat of a premium item. If I can point to one downside, it is that we should NOT mix this with piping hot coffee because that causes it to curdle. I used to mix my whey with coffee so that I get my daily kick with some protein to start, but because the protein is so fine, it curdles much more easy in hot coffee (and that means you waste good coffee and good protein).

Very good stuff. Tastes great and works quickly. I have have taken lots of different types of protein in my life. But this Hydro, speeds my recovery more than the others.

Mixes easily in my GNC protein shaker with skim milk, has smooth consistency and rich vanilla cream flavor without being too sweet. I’ve being drinking protein shakes for about 12 years from GNC and On Performance and consider this first purchase by R1 to be my new favorite. The price point is very competitive with other brands and the container lid is shrink wrapped and sealed inside to insure freshness and security during shipment. I highly recommend the product and hope they maintain the quality, taste and packaging specs to assure my business for years to come.

UPDATE 9/8: Ive now been using this daily for almost six months. I continue to be incredibly happy with the results. This, combined with increasing my calorie intake and getting in the gym every day, has helped me fill out and pack on some healthy weight. I am 62 and ran track and cross country most of my life, adding muscle or weight to my frame has always been a challenge. I will continue using this product unless its formula changes or the price dramatically increases. Ive been taking this daily for about a month now and am really happy with my purchase. I mix one heaping scoop with ~8 ounces of oat milk each morning after my workout and have noticed a more productive recovery time and feel better in general since adding this into my routine. This mixes great (with oat milk, havent tried anything else) and is easy on the stomach. Texture is great. It is a tad on the sweet side, but Ive only tried vanilla so far (will probably stick with this regardless).

I will begin by saying this protein powder tastes really good but it’s hard to believe it settled this much in shipping. If that’s the case then vacuum seal it or figure out your packaging. I hate wasting plastic packaging and this feels wasteful. Or did I just not get my money’s worth?

Its probably the best protein powder ive had but theyve gone from $60 per pucket to $80 and now over $100? Thats pretty absurd. Id like to buy more but I just dont have the budget to spend $100 on protein powder every month

I bought the Cookies and Cream flavor and I mix it with water. The taste is good but Ive had better tasting ones before. What I really like about this protein is the macros on it: No fat, low sodium, 1 gram of carb, no sugar and 25 grams of protein. Very surprised how light the texture of the powder is which is why it is very easy to mix in my shaker bottle. I would buy again and choose another flavor when Im done with this one.
