This device has all sorts of potential, but I was not able to use it for my intended purpose. My system was too old to allow it to be a boot drive, so I stuffed it into a clear USB 3.0 drive enclosure and use it as a storage drive.

This ssd stores files, reads files, and repeats that process as many times as you can right click and drag and drop. I use it as storage. I got all SSDs in my PC and it moves along quite zippy I’d say.

Compact and good quality and value. Just upgraded all my traditional EXTERNAL HDDs with these SSDs and boy was it worth it. My MAC flies now when working in Adobe AND accessing Time Machine. No more wasted MINUTES (that really add up!!) for spinning drives. This lightning fast flash technology brings you IMMEDIATE gratification. My work time is so much more efficient now. Upgrade to SSD. I also bought some low cost enclosures that saved me several hundred dollars from buying box-ready SSD external hard drives. Took 5 minutes to slip these into their enclosures. BAM!! $800 external hard drive for less than half the cost.

Its super fast and easy to install. I bought this to upgrade from a 1 tb Sandisk. Cloning software worked perfectly. Exact copy of original disk to new Samsung. It takes an hour or so to clone.

Samsung quality on the cheap. I’m using this as a secondary storage drive but it would do well as your main drive also. Perfect for gamers, might not be so good for someone that needs to move around large files a lot (hundreds of gigs a day). An NVME SSD would be better for that purpose.

Perfect to upgrade my PC at low cost.

I bought a computer with a spinning hard drive. I decided to install this and put the operating system on it and have the old drive for storage. It works great.
