So I upgraded my Lenovo X1 Carbon SSD from 500G to this one which a 1TB. I looked at many reviews and Youtube videos prior and it looked like the upgrade should have been super easy for me- I dont have a computer or IT background but am very comfortable with basic upgrades, repairs, and software management and have a Mac, Windows and am a Ubuntu Linux user- and have fixed many software and hardware issues myself.

Works as advertised.

Lightning Fast trouble free

Well according to several review sites (toms, anand, etc), there are cheaper PCIE-3.0 NVME SSDs out there, and they are extremely close to this drives performance. But, also according to them, this one is the fastest. Im getting ~3511 MB/s in CrystalDiskMark.

This is the first time Ive built a new PC in over a decade and I hadnt experienced the pleasure of having a SSD drive until now. Its simply incredible how fast and reliable this thing is. After comparing stats and specs of various SSDs, Im very happy I made the decision to go with the 970 EVO Plus, as it definitely handles my PC gaming with grace. I could never go back to a mechanical hard drive after being spoiled by this beast! I appreciate Samsung for quality and performance, but I am rarely willing to pay the extra price to get their brand. This time however, it was absolutely worth it.

yeah this NVMe is really fast! boot times are ineradicable. Samsung is the only company i use for SSD related storage. I have used others and had problems but ever since i went to Samsung i havent had any problems. I have bought at least 15 SSD products.

games load in seconds, crazy fast drive

Through no fault of this product, the drive did not work in my 3- or 4-year-old HP 17-ak0 laptop, which was a bummer. I found conflicting information as to the port on the motherboard being NVME or SATAIII, turns out it was SATAIII. I got a SATAIII WD Blue 500 gb for the laptop and decided to keep the Samsung.

Este produto possui uma grande taxa de entregas até mesmo em modo aleatório, em geral tudo fica mais rápido, principalmente as atualizações. Porém em um notebook ele esquenta muito tornando um sistema quente ainda mais instável e limitando sua taxa de escrita e leitura, então se planeje para adquirir este produto, ou compre com dissipador. Custo benefício é mediano em vista que os preços estão absurdos.
