> 24 hourI bought this to upgrade the 512gb storage in my mid 2015 MacBook Pro. With the latest Samsung 970 evo plus firmware, Installation was a breeze. My read and write speed improved from 1400 to 2400, however this drive tends to overheat. Within few minutes of using my laptop, the surface felt burning hot vs the original drive I had. I end up returning the unit because it made my laptop went into black screen mode due to the high temp.

> 24 hourGreat upgrade for a compatible laptop. I suggest having a utility that will assist moving partitions from the old drive, bootable usb stick etc. Im ordering a external USB enclosure for my old drive so I can use it also. Rebuilding windows and loading apps is time consuming.

> 24 hourWhat a time to be alive. DIY upgrades are so much cheaper than the majority of major brands trying to upsell storage configurations when making a laptop purchase.

> 24 hourThis is the best SSD you can find under $100. Installation is super quick and easy, and Windows immediately detected this drive when I plugged this SSD via USB (type C). The sequential read and write speeds are insanely fast compared to any SATA SSD. I got 3.5/3.4 GB/s respectively. I highly recommend this drive to anyone in the market for an NVME SSD. Its compatible with several motherboard brands. Definitely worth the upgrade from a SATA SSD like the 850 or 860 EVO
