> 24 hourSo far, so good. You will have to download and configure the Samsung Magician software to set rapid mode, because that makes about a 5x improvement in speed. Without the Magician, youll be in the sssslllloooooowwww lane. My initial CrystalDiskMark speeds before using Magician on this drive were extremely disappointing. Be aware that the Magician rapid mode speed optimization only affects one drive, so your old Samsung SSD is going to slow down quite a bit when you change the rapid mode target.

> 24 hourI love this solid state drive. Programs run so much faster! Boot time is also excellent. I have already bought more of these drives for my different computers. The Samsung Magician program included makes the change flawless!

> 24 hourGreat value for the money, with a name brand I can trust. Not much more to say except that I have had several Samsung SSDs in my own builds and builds for others, and Ive had zero complaints with them.

> 24 hourFine SSD if not lower external build quality than the ssds of old. Feels like one of those promotional products a business would print their name on and make look nice but made as cheap as humanly possible. Which is what they did and fair enough.

> 24 hourI have other Samsung ssds and wanted to try a larger capacity drive. I believe there are no better ssds than Samsung. Very pleased. I would recommend this to sveryone.

> 24 hourI received the ssd quickly. Downloaded the samsung migration software. Plugged the ssd into the usb3.0 port of my dell laptop vostro v131 intel I5 6 gb ram laptop. The software led me through the migration of my old 360gb 7200 rpm hdd to the new Samsung 1tb ssd. The migration took about 5 hours. The software shut down the laptop automatically. I then removed the transfer cable from the usb port. Removed the old hdd from the dell, very easy to do. Installed the new ssd into the dell. Hit the power button, and the dell booted up in seconds. Nothing else was necessary to do with mine, everything transferred perfectly, and all applications worked perfectly. Running smoothly now for a few weeks. It boots much quicker than the old hdd, and responds noticeably quicker also. Quieter to. I did run chkdsk before starting the migration to be sure that the old hdd was good to go. I have nothing bad to say about the ssd or the process. Couldn’t have gone smoother.
