Plugged in this SSD to my laptop and it works. I needed storage space for my games and this helps a lot.

I installed this on my extremely slow running 2011 MacBook Pro to get rid of the hard drive and WOW what a difference. It took about 30 minutes to install but that included dusting out the inside of the computer and to make the clone of the hard drive

Go big or go home. Just buy this SSD. If you use your computer for work, the loading times for your applications and files will not even exist. I have 2 of these 860 EVOs, 500gb and 1tb, and Ill be sending one to my father soon. If you use a computer for work, this really is an investment. Pay now for faster loading speeds but benefit from more work done indefinitely.

Cloned existing hard drive in my Asus laptop and installed this new drive. Easy DIY for anyone with some computer repair experience. Made startup and Windows so much faster. Encountered no problems. Direct replacement size and fit.

After installing this ssd into my computer I noticed a significant boost on responsiveness of the machine. 500gb is the sweet spot Im my opinion for storage and price, as long as you also have a decent capacity hard disk drive as well for larger files and games that you access less often its amazing! Installing and cloning was easy enough as well.

The performance on my laptop with this SSD has completely given it a new life! The SSD came in the original Samsung packaging and was easy to install. Only a few screws on my laptop and using the Samsung Tools for cloning was very easy.

The comparisons of this vs a mechanical drive is crazy. This outperforms anything I have ever used. The price was high for a 4tb vs a mechanical 8tb coming in about $150 USD vs $600+ for this but its well worth it. Load times for something like a large game for Unity in the editor takes mins while a mechanical drive is almost an hour. Well worth the money. It was easy to install I used a SATA cable and hooked right up.
