    This was very easy to install. Used Samsung’s data migration software (available online at Samsung.com/ssd) to clone the existing hard drive to the new SSD. Whole process took ~2 hours and the new SSD is way faster than the old HDD. One of the best investments I’ve ever made in improving the speed of a computer.

    Plug and play with the old HDD. Bought a newer HP for cheap and upgraded the HDD to this for DJing and it is so much smoother running!

    Bought this to upgrade my mac laptop, and with this ssd, it runs great with the newer OSX. If your old mac laptop is upgradable by replacing the hard drive with an ssd, do it!

    These are the only SSDs I will use. Samsung’s migration software with an external drive reader works great! Copy the drive, install, and you are on your way. Pro Tip, I’ve had issues with two machines booting after swapping drives. In both cases a reset of the BIOS to factory defaults fixed it.

    Replaced an aging hard drive in my laptop. My boot time is now 15-20 seconds instead of about 2 minutes! I backed up to an external hard drive with Acronis True Image and then applied the image to the new SSD. If I do it in the future I will purchase a USB-SSD adapter and use the Samsung data migration tool.
