Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

This ssd works great. I switched out my old hard drive in my laptop and the samsung data migration software was easy to use and worked great

got this hard drive for my nieces laptop she did have a 1tb toshiba mechanical hard drive that was going bad it was always running at 100% causing the computer to become so slow it was nearly un usable so i found this samsung ssd and yea i sacrificed half of the storage space but its worth it to get the performance since she games a lot, super easy worked like a charm right out the box installed windows from a flash drive it really only took about 20 minutes total to boot up and install windows pretty amazing and its samsung so you know right there its quality

I installed this EVO SSD in a late-2012 version of the Mac Mini. With the original spinning disk hard drive, boot-up time took about two minutes, and programs loaded slowly. I had already upped the RAM to 16 gbytes, but still the performance was too lethargic. Installing the SSD was not as trivial as the online instructions would have you believe, but the job took only about 2 hours. Before transferring files from the old HD, I deleted some programs and tried to do some organizing. I made a fresh install of High Sierra 10.13.6 and then copied other programs. Wow, what an improvement in performance! Bootup is 20 or 30 seconds. Even loading Parallels and WIN 10 is a few seconds. This little SSD gives my old Mac Mini a few more years of life. Well worthwhile.

Not going into read/write or transfer speeds. All I can say is that Ive had this installed for over a year now, and have never had any issues. And my computer is MUCH FASTER today than it was when I originally purchased it. Overall, Im extremely happy with this purchase.

Performs well, relatively easy to install OS on after a bit of research. It does not include m3 screws to screw on your case, or a SATA cable. Keep that in mind.

Given, my laptop is 5 years old, but whenever I would reboot, or wake the PC...Windows 10 would just HAMMER the hard drive for 20 minutes. Nothing going on but Windows processes...I couldnt do anything until it settled down..

Extremely fast and easy to install for a PS4 console. Best price for a great experience as far as gaming is concerned. The speed and performance is top quality. Easily best decision Ive made as a PS4 owner.

Insane difference in everything. Loading screens are pretty much non existent. 7 Days to Die for example. Creating a world would usually take 20+ minutes. Now takes under a minute. Computer boots up and is on desktop in less than five seconds. One gripe is that it doesnt come with USB to Sata sable. You need to copy and existing hard-drive.

I havent used a solid state HD before, so I cant compare to others but my computer is really fast now, Love it.
