I dont build PCs. My hard drive went bad in my PS4 Pro and so I wanted an SSD(thats what this product is). Very easy to remove the back and replace it. There are videos online to show replacing it. You also have to go on Sonys website and download the latest software update for the system on a thumb drive. Just make sure you back up all your data. PS plus backs up your save files but you have to turn that function on. PS plus doesnt store pictures. All of this info is online and easy to find. NO it did not speed up loading times for the system. You need an 8TB SSD to get any kind of noticeable difference...

I bought this as an upgrade for a small SSD operating system (Win10) boot drive. The drive seems to be quite fast and perhaps the best surprise is that Samsung has free drive cloning software available online that worked without a hitch.

Excellent performance, easy to install, and the migration software works great! It was very easy to install and was a huge performance upgrade. So glad I bought this....no regrets. Just get it!

Upgraded the hard drive disk to this Samsung Evo can’t believe that my computer is running the way it’s running, it gave it another life, internets going super fast, programs are opening really quickly, when recording in ProTools everything is running smoothly I can’t complain one bit recommend recommend before installing to format the disk externally do not do it internally because I did have some issues once I did that process it was good to go
