    I returned the first one. The second is glitchy. SanDisk support was quick to pin the blame on Windows 10, but ultimately I found out that the operating system was not the problem. I bought this because it was made by SanDisk. I no longer hold SanDisk in high regard.

    I bought this for the sustained 1000MB/s read/write speeds and this thing delivers. You need high quality cables (not those cheapos from 7-11) and a USB 3.2 port. I had to hunt on my motherboard to find them, and I only had 2 USB-A style 3.2 ports and 1 USB-C style 3.2 on the back IO. The front panel USB-A and USB-C on my motherboard only supports 3.1. So make SURE you have USB 3.2 ports, otherwise just buy a cheaper and slower drive.
