Perfect for what I need it. I expanded the memory in my PS4. I can now buy a lot more games. I moved the games that were on my PS4 to this hard drive.

Faster download rates compared to the internal storage unless you have a internal ssd. Also Im now able to have at least 110-120 games downloaded on the system without lag thanks to external storage!

I was on the fence about buying this with all the bad reviews i was reading, but 10 months in and its working great, I got the 4tb model.

Super simple to set up and getting ready to start putting games on oldest anything and everything when it comes to my PS4 Im super stoked about it I dont have to download on all my PlayStations I just have to download on my Seagate and I can bring it to the other PlayStation and just sign in to my account and plug it in
