The Senco pc1010 1/2 hp 1 gallon mini air compressor is just that, mini. So if youre looking for compressor to work all day, look somewhere else. This is light duty compressor that will take care of something like putting trim around a door frame. It is not an all day compressor because even attatching a tool will make this compressor start to cycle (ony 1 gallon means you lose a lot of air quickly.) If you have a lot of work to do that requires a compressor, stick to larger one. However I have had no problems with it so far and it gets small jobs done. The mini senco is not bad for a side kick and its very quiet.

Bought it because it was lightweight but still powerful enough for small trim and cabinet jobs. At less than one third the weight of my dual tank hotdog compressor the PC1010 is easy to carry up several flights of stairs. These old legs appreciate its lightweight (20 lbs). It is outstanding for small trim & cabinet jobs. If you are doing rough framing or roofing all day long this is not the compressor for you. It can drive twenty 18 gauge brads (PC brad gun) or eight 15 gauge finish nails (N60FN finish nail gun) before the compressor cycles on. If you run your guns below the compressor turn on pressure (95 psi) the last nail / brad sets the same as the first. Only takes 30 to 35 seconds to come back up to full cutoff pressure (125 psi). The PC1010 is also very quite. With some other compressors you need hearing protection unless you put the compressor in another room

Senco PC1010 Oilless Compressor: Purchased for finish work. 2nd unit, first lasted 12 yrs. until capacitor failed. Have ordered a replacement capacitor. While waiting I purchased a new, same model (PC1010). Unit arrived timely (2 days-Prime) but output regulator would only adjust to roughly 86 psi. on the high end and jumped from high to low of 15 psi with no in between readings. Returned for a replacement, arriving today. Will update when I test the new unit. New unit arrived on schedule and works perfectly. Best small, light weight, low db compressor @$120 for finish carpentry work. I highly recommend the PC1010 unit mfg’ed Nov. 2019 over the PC1010N($144).

This compressor is exactly what I expected. It is light, there for very portable. It is great for finish work. I do light framing with the compressor but because of its size and weight you have to be patient. I have a much larger compressor for framing. I;m very with this unit.

First, the build quality is excellent - doesnt feel cheap or poor quality. I expect it will last for years. Its very portable and easy to carry. Pretty quiet, about like youd expect if youre used to compressors - more on quieter side. Cons are the 1 gallon is on the small side and the 1/2 HP is on the weaker side. Using a nozzle gun youve really only got about 7 to 15 seconds of straight usage before it runs out - with decreasing pressure over that time (obviously depending on air flow of nozzle). Recharge from empty is about a minute - which can be frustrating to stop and let it refill. This would be good if youre doing nailing or something with a slight pause in between usages so it can catch up, but if youre using it to blow things off like in a shop, the capacity is small and engine behind refill speed. If youre using it intermittently and for small projects, its good. But if youre using it in a workshop where youll need air stream constantly, Id go with either 2+ gallon or 1+ HP as youll find yourself stopping and waiting for it to refill. Used it to blow dust out of vacuum and had to keep stopping for it to catch up. This isnt a fault in the product, just went too lean on specs for my needs. Overall it is good quality and works well, but hits limits quickly. In hindsight Id get either bigger tank or more powerful compressor engine for faster refill rate - even at higher cost.

It is well built, reasonably priced, arrived on time and fairly quiet. For me, I had one specific need and unfortunately it did not work as I had hoped. The reviews led me to believe it could keep up with being used at a low psi output, say 30-50 pounds, enough to feed small nails. I was planning on it being able to go to full capacity 125 psi, spray air at a poundage of 30-50 psi for about 15 seconds, stop spraying and let it build up for 15 seconds, spray some, stop and repeat. The volume of air is only 1 gallon, which I understand, but it takes over a minute to get back to poundage where I could spray 30-50 psi for even a few seconds. The end result for me is that it takes too long to build back up enough pressure to use again as I had planned. Ill keep it because it is well made, lightweight and I might can use it in emergencies where only a very small amount of air is needed at a high psi. Probably would work great for small hobby jobs or non-repetitive type work.

Bought this, was super pleased with it. Works great for running a brad nailer or a stapler. Wont keep up with a framing gun, but I didnt expect it to. Runs quiet enough to have a normal volume conversation next to. But heres the kicker: I bought a similar Blue Hawk compressor from Lowes just recently that runs quieter, weighs less, ALSO keeps up pretty well with a framing gun, and came with a trim stapling gun, coil hose and all the necessary attachments... For significantly less. So this Senco is not a bad investment by any means of youre looking for something to run trim without the hassle of a big noisy compressor, but its still not the best deal Ive found.

Everything about this product looks Top quality, from the craftsmanship, to the parts used... this should be the last air compressor I buy; should take care of all my needs... I purchased for my plasma cutter (worked great!) If your looking for a small, QUIET & trustworthy compressor, & want piece of mind, then I highly recommend this one! My pc is almost as loud as this compressor... your average box fan is substantially louder! I could run this in the living room, right beside the TV, & no-one would bat an eye, seriously!

At first I loved this product, small, portable but did the job. I use it mainly to blow dust off of gear after uses. It only holds enough air to dust off a couple of seconds. Then it takes about a minute before its recharged. What really concerns me is when I dump the air tank (after each use) now when I dump the air rust POORS out of it. When will I learn not to buy cheaper products!

This compressor is good and quite silent, with a gallon it does not fill a vehicle wheel, you would have to wait for it to fill the tank to continue filling it, it is not of continuous use and it needs time to cool down or lower the temperature of the engine and pump, but it is very good and I recommend it for jobs with less effort, stapler painting miniatures etc.

The SENCO PC1010 compressor is a 1 HP peak, 1 Gallon, oil-less portable air compressor. At 20 lbs., this compressor is easy to carry and to use in a wide variety of applications.
