Overall a great little compressor for trim work. It will keep up with an 18 gauge Brad nailer as long S you aren’t nailing too fast and great for 23 gauge pinner. A little light for a 16 gauge gun. A couple things I don’t like are the switch is under the handle so it’s not in a great spot. Also, the gauges are on backwards so if you are looking at the front of it the gauges are upside down. I noticed someone else’s picture it is the same way. Drives me OCD crazy. Also I wish the outlet for the hose was straight out the front instead of going sideways. The size and weight and noise are all great and I also really like the lever to drain the tank. Makes wrapping up at the end of the day really fast since you don’t have to sit there pulling the spring release for 5 minutes like most compressors.

This is one of my favorite tool purchases of ALL time. I love this thing. I needed it for a specific project and it worked like a charm. Now I keep finding more and more uses for it. This is not a framing compressor, it doesnt have the power to drive large nails. But it does an excellent job for finishing work and small nail projects. We also bought a stapler gun for a upholstery projects and it works great. I got an attachment for putting air in the tires of the lawn tractor and kids bikes and it works perfectly. Very handy to have right there in the garage.

This compressor was purchased as a hobby usage compressor, it arrived in unscathed condition, opening and reviewing the direction booklet which was very concise and clear, I filed the serial number and proceeded to fire this puppy up. The compressor sets on rubber feet and on a tile floor with 15 foot ceilings it was exceptionally quiet, and filled the 1 gallon tank in a little less than the book stated of 144 seconds. As a test I let the pressure stand on the tank for 3 days no bleed down, the regulator works well and is fine tunable, to me it is very heavy duty in its build and actually a stronger looking unit than I had expected. When it fills the 125psi on the tank and only using 30 psi at the regulator for airbrushing it sets a while before needing to restart and fill the tank. I like it better than the pancake diaphragm unit it is replacing. Only down side was the quick connect is not marked as to the style a,b or c plug in so I had to remove it to get the proper plug in if it was stamped it would be better. I forgot to add the quick connect info, it is a IM style connect..02192015

I bought this air compressor to fill 29 inch tubeless mountain bike tires. It does the job - just. A sufficient blast of air is needed to seat the tires and this compressor is just able to do the task. I will likely also use the blower to dry off wet chain rings - but I doubt I will use it for much more. Dont expect a large reservoir of air! That being said, it is very light, well built and I do like the compact design. I looked at comparably sized compressors from Craftsman, Porter Cable and Campbell Hausfeld. This unit is much smaller and lighter. On the down side, it comes with no attachments. I would certainly buy it again.

Bought this unit to replace a cheap compressor that failed after a couple years. I mainly use it for brad-nailing, but have also used it for some paint spraying (it is underpowered for that - no surprise). Overall it works very well, seems to be high quality, and is somewhat quieter than my old compressor. I like it a lot. The only (very minor) complaint I have is that the drain valve is not centered on the bottom so I have to tilt the compressor when I drain it. Not sure why they did that - maybe to allow more ground clearance. Not a big deal - just slightly awkward.

Im very impressed with this air compressor. Very light to tote around. I only use this for small projects on the job site but use a much larger compressor for serious work with constant usage and larger nailers. This works great for smaller finishing nailers with light to moderate usage. Will it work on a framing nailer. Yes but only a few shots then it needs to kick on for a little while. I also must mention that this thing has held air for days without losing any air pressure. First compressor I ever owned that would do that.

Great for small nails and staples. Easy to carry around, more punch than I thought possible for 2 nails into harder woods like oak.

You have to understand what you are getting. This is a tiny little fellow, and the people who built it put low weight and portability first and foremost. Everything else is secondary. You can grab this thing and haul it around like a carry on bag at the airport. You can zip up and down stairs. Its lovely. This thing weighs 20 pounds. Thats absurd. Pick up this thing and then pick up a mid-size compressor that weighs about 50-60 pounds and you totally see the difference. My Makita MAC700 weights 60 pounds. My MAC2400 weighs 77 pounds. Those are VERY heavy compressors. Getting a 77 pound compressor off a chest-high shelf and then carrying it through three rooms and up a couple flights of stairs---lets be honest, its 50-50 that youll be wrenching your back and in pain for a week. So, its light and small. Its really easy to get on and off a shelf. At the same time, that means that its going to fill kind of slow and youre not going to get that many nail gun shots before it kicks on again. If youre a typical homeowner moving a bit pokey as you do a project, thats nothing at all. The compressor will totally keep up with you. Shoot some nails, take a drink of water or move a board or two around, and youre ready to go again. If youre a pro a moving fast, though, youll find this thing lagging. Mine had a problem right out of the box. I would not work right, and a guy in an online forum said to screw off the check valve, spray it with WD40, shake it, and reassemble. I did and it has worked great since then. Would I use this to inflate tires? I dont think so. Its just not designed to put out lots and lots of air. Maybe topping up tires here and there if youre willing to do it a bit slowly. This Senco is designed to fire 8 or 12 nails, cycle for about 20-30 seconds, and then go again. I will say to its advantage that its on the quieter side when its running. Its not quiet, but its not that ear-splitting roar you get with some of those pancake compressors. It also holds air pretty darn well. If I leave it plugged in all night, Ill only hear it come on every 45 minutes to an hour or so. If you accept this for what it is, it is a great tool.

Bought it because it was lightweight but still powerful enough for small trim and cabinet jobs. At less than one third the weight of my dual tank hotdog compressor the PC1010 is easy to carry up several flights of stairs. These old legs appreciate its lightweight (20 lbs). It is outstanding for small trim & cabinet jobs. If you are doing rough framing or roofing all day long this is not the compressor for you. It can drive twenty 18 gauge brads (PC brad gun) or eight 15 gauge finish nails (N60FN finish nail gun) before the compressor cycles on. If you run your guns below the compressor turn on pressure (95 psi) the last nail / brad sets the same as the first. Only takes 30 to 35 seconds to come back up to full cutoff pressure (125 psi). The PC1010 is also very quite. With some other compressors you need hearing protection unless you put the compressor in another room

The SENCO PC1010 compressor is a 1 HP peak, 1 Gallon, oil-less portable air compressor. At 20 lbs., this compressor is easy to carry and to use in a wide variety of applications.
