i think this a great item for a finish installer such as myself. however if you are looking for a compressor that you can use constantly this is not it. it takes a full 2:00 min for a fill from empty to full. And a full minute for a recharge. it works great for me when i do pick up work because it is so light and quiet. It will run a pinner or micro pinner fine but nothing larger. the one nice thing about it is it does not draw much amperage which is good that way you can run it off of a 100ft. cord. a lot of compressors will not turn over at this distance because of power loss.

This little gem is one of the best tools in the shop, my co-workers keep borrowing it. When we go out on a job, I grab it with the hose and gun attached and throw it on the seat beside me. We get to the job site and I walk upstairs and start shooting on trim before everyone else can gather their tools. Yeah, it takes awhile for it to get up to pressure and you cant bump nail a big gun with it, but who cares. If I need more air Ill borrow someone elses big heavy two horse job and let them carry the thing around. I shoot staples, 23ga., 18ga. and 15ga. and I use my blower if theres not too much to blow. The homeowners (and I) LOVE it because its so quiet. If it died today Id order another(from Amazon) tonight!

Everything about this product looks Top quality, from the craftsmanship, to the parts used... this should be the last air compressor I buy; should take care of all my needs... I purchased for my plasma cutter (worked great!) If your looking for a small, QUIET & trustworthy compressor, & want piece of mind, then I highly recommend this one! My pc is almost as loud as this compressor... your average box fan is substantially louder! I could run this in the living room, right beside the TV, & no-one would bat an eye, seriously!

Bought it to use as an airbrush compressor. Works perfect. I have had no problems whatsoever. Runs quiet as advertised. In fact, runs as quiet as the black compressor on the shelf above it in the picture. No cons on this end.

This a great quiet small compressor only down side no moister trap which is needed and that is all she wrote. Best for the dollar not as quiet as some smaller compressor but in a box with a fan it is really just a great little compressor and the best I found. It puts out enough air to run 4 air brushes a nailer and small air tools all day and doesnt over heat. A compressor for a traveling artist great for studio work, dusting, inflating and framing. It also had not leaks and a true 125 psi and 2 cfm. Nice for $120 it is a steal. Easy to use and carry, fast to recover fully. I have to say it is a must have for any tool guy or airbrush artist. Great finish and no cheap rubber feel and is easy to drain tank. It also put out very little moist at the end of the day.It is the only compressor that is a great buy in the class of small compressors around a $120 that you can move around freely with a psi of 125 amazing. Update it is almost 5 years later and it works like a champ it is a little dirty, beat up, and little louder but works well!

I always wondered if the people that write one star reviews are just disgruntled idiots who dont really know how to use the tool they are complaining about....well know I lnow thats not the case! Let me start by saying I have now owned 4 of these compressors. This exact one the Senco PC1010 the first one I owned worked with out issue for 1 year the other three have never made it past 4 months.I am a professional refacer of cabinets and I use this with a 23 gauge pin nailer.Average use is 5 to 8 days a month. They just arnt made to last.I am careful with my tools and keep in the house and clean. The three have all had different issues, but today takes the cake..Im done. The two I had at the job site house both quit working properly with in 1 hour of each other. Compressor no.1 would fully fill its tank and the gauges read 125 psi but after 4 or 5 pins there was no more air being distributed from the compressor. So that one was done ! We tried letting it cool down for several hours ...still the same thing.Compressor no.2 would run until it got to 125 psi then on its own let out air back to 100psi.then after one 23 gauge pin nail it would start running g again and start the cycle all over.this is not pro gear not even weekend warrior quality. It has major production and quality flaws and should be recalled.By the way compressor no.3 back at the shop started doing the cycling itself to fill and then release all the air even with out firing pins ,just does it endlesslyover and over..what junk.I have switched to Makita. Not sure who is writing all these good reviews, but would you want to roll the dice on 3 different compressors taking a dump bought at 3 different times over the course of a year...not me ! Learn from my issues stay away from this product.

This little compressor is just what I was looking for! If youve got to do a little trim work and dont want to lug the big boy out, this is light and very quiet! It is not made to frame a house with! Small jobs where you dont want to break your back! It does cycle a lot, but it is only one gallon. That is to be expected. I bet(with the right regulator/filter) it would make a great airbrush compressor! Love this thing!!

My use of this product is very light-duty; nothing more than forced air for cleaning up firearms and electronics. That being said, this little sucker has some trouble keeping up when under sustained usage even for what I would consider being short bursts. In other words, the motor is constantly running. Looking back, I probably should have gone one size larger on the tank size. I use this in an enclosed work area and I was very comfortable with the sound level of the motor. Other reviews had me nervous about that, but those nerves were unwarranted. Its quiet. Overall its pretty well made except for one replaceable part, that being the connection to the line pressure gauge and quick disconnect attachment. When the motor would stop running, I could hear the hiss of air leaking from somewhere. I verified it was not coming from the blow gun tool or the hose connections. I replaced the valve connecting to the line pressure gauge and the quick disconnect attachment with Milton brand (available on Amazon), and even before turning on the motor I knew Id fixed the problem. The fit and finish of the new valve & QD were far superior to what came with the compressor. This did, in fact, fix the air leak and Ive had zero problems since. This was a $17 replacement kit. Summary: Consider this not just a light-duty compressor, but a VERY light-duty compressor; good for instantly airing up tires, sports balls, and hobby & crafts work. Anything more strenuous than that and Id recommend a larger tank. That being said, I do like the quality from this manufacturer in all regards EXCEPT the valve & QD attachment as previously described. And the cost on this is really unbeatable for a quality, entry-level compressor.

It is well built, reasonably priced, arrived on time and fairly quiet. For me, I had one specific need and unfortunately it did not work as I had hoped. The reviews led me to believe it could keep up with being used at a low psi output, say 30-50 pounds, enough to feed small nails. I was planning on it being able to go to full capacity 125 psi, spray air at a poundage of 30-50 psi for about 15 seconds, stop spraying and let it build up for 15 seconds, spray some, stop and repeat. The volume of air is only 1 gallon, which I understand, but it takes over a minute to get back to poundage where I could spray 30-50 psi for even a few seconds. The end result for me is that it takes too long to build back up enough pressure to use again as I had planned. Ill keep it because it is well made, lightweight and I might can use it in emergencies where only a very small amount of air is needed at a high psi. Probably would work great for small hobby jobs or non-repetitive type work.

The SENCO PC1010 compressor is a 1 HP peak, 1 Gallon, oil-less portable air compressor. At 20 lbs., this compressor is easy to carry and to use in a wide variety of applications.
