Greater than one weekIm a master plumber, and we frequently test plumbing systems with air, usually up to 100lbs. This little guy has the power to pressurize systems bigger than meet the eye, though it does take a little time. Its dang quiet too, that was a surprise. VERY well built, highly recommended.

> 3 dayAs a woodworker, I have owned all the popular small compressors, all of them. This is the first one that makes me happy. It is compact, lightweight, and quiet. It pumps out the air without effort and runs all my guns from 15 gauge and smaller. Don’t use this for framing, but everything else is plenty of capacity. I looked this over and the fit and finish is first rate. I would highly recommend it.

> 3 dayMy use of this product is very light-duty; nothing more than forced air for cleaning up firearms and electronics. That being said, this little sucker has some trouble keeping up when under sustained usage even for what I would consider being short bursts. In other words, the motor is constantly running. Looking back, I probably should have gone one size larger on the tank size. I use this in an enclosed work area and I was very comfortable with the sound level of the motor. Other reviews had me nervous about that, but those nerves were unwarranted. Its quiet. Overall its pretty well made except for one replaceable part, that being the connection to the line pressure gauge and quick disconnect attachment. When the motor would stop running, I could hear the hiss of air leaking from somewhere. I verified it was not coming from the blow gun tool or the hose connections. I replaced the valve connecting to the line pressure gauge and the quick disconnect attachment with Milton brand (available on Amazon), and even before turning on the motor I knew Id fixed the problem. The fit and finish of the new valve & QD were far superior to what came with the compressor. This did, in fact, fix the air leak and Ive had zero problems since. This was a $17 replacement kit. Summary: Consider this not just a light-duty compressor, but a VERY light-duty compressor; good for instantly airing up tires, sports balls, and hobby & crafts work. Anything more strenuous than that and Id recommend a larger tank. That being said, I do like the quality from this manufacturer in all regards EXCEPT the valve & QD attachment as previously described. And the cost on this is really unbeatable for a quality, entry-level compressor.

> 3 dayIm an aging finish carpenter. My younger colleague showed up with this cute compressor to run his pin nailer for a kitchen cabinet crown installation and it seemed to do fine. So I bought one to save my aching body some of the pains of portage. I figured that since Im a guy whose colleagues have always teased about doing damn nice work---and not much of it, it would be perfect for my slow pace and intricate work. However, handy as it was to lug on site, it didnt seem to keep up very well, possibly due to a leak I could not locate. It also seemed to make a very tinny sound when running --- I kept feeling like Id discover a loose fastener somewhere in the motor! Anyway, I didnt spend the little money involved for the privilege of doing detective/mechanic work, so I returned it and looked into other options. Glad I did! Bostitch offers a similarly designed model with only slightly greater size and weight, but twice the technical specs across the board. I bought Bostitch Trim Air (model CAP1512‑OF) for about $120 at Menards. (Oddly, this in-store price was much better than any I could find online!) Absolutely great little compressor, readily keeping pace with my pin nailer and my Senco Finish Pro 41 finish gun. These little compressors kick on a lot by design (tiny tank), but this one really gets the job done. BTW, the young guy who bought --- and is generally happy with --- Senco PC1010says he wished he had found the Bostitch before he bought the Senco. And FYI, this current review is from a professional carpenter who has stuck with Senco for all air guns for four decades. BUY BOSTITCH CAP1512-OF.

18-11-2024This little powerhouse was just what I was looking for in the shop. I do small shop woodworking and lot of DIY on the house. Maneuvering a pancake compressor around the dining room and living room is a big pain plus it can result in annoying red marks all over everything. You reno guys know what I mean. And I havent even addressed the issue of noise. This little compressor is perfect for shooting a few pins or brads in the shop or resetting that pesky piece of recalcitrant molding. It is amazingly quiet, well built, and light. No, you wont have enough firepower to frame a wall or put up five hundred feet of crown molding, but it works wonders on the little jobs. I keep it tucked under my woodworking bench where it sits like a good soldier, ready to spring into action. I still have my larger compressor for the big jobs, but I turn to this little guy first. And I can still hear the shop stereo or my wifes call to supper while its running.

19-11-2024This little compressor is just what I was looking for! If youve got to do a little trim work and dont want to lug the big boy out, this is light and very quiet! It is not made to frame a house with! Small jobs where you dont want to break your back! It does cycle a lot, but it is only one gallon. That is to be expected. I bet(with the right regulator/filter) it would make a great airbrush compressor! Love this thing!!

> 3 dayBought it to use as an airbrush compressor. Works perfect. I have had no problems whatsoever. Runs quiet as advertised. In fact, runs as quiet as the black compressor on the shelf above it in the picture. No cons on this end.

> 3 dayEverything about this product looks Top quality, from the craftsmanship, to the parts used... this should be the last air compressor I buy; should take care of all my needs... I purchased for my plasma cutter (worked great!) If your looking for a small, QUIET & trustworthy compressor, & want piece of mind, then I highly recommend this one! My pc is almost as loud as this compressor... your average box fan is substantially louder! I could run this in the living room, right beside the TV, & no-one would bat an eye, seriously!

23-11-2024I bought this originally for my office so we can blow out the inside of our pcs and workstations from time to time. Ive managed to find more use for it too. We recently started dismantling pallets and this has worked great with our pneumatic denailing gun. Although I didnt particularly count how many pulls I got before it would cycle the motor, it was enough that I could usually get through a plank and let it recycle while I get the next one. The weight makes it really easy to tote around.
