> 3 dayThis a great quiet small compressor only down side no moister trap which is needed and that is all she wrote. Best for the dollar not as quiet as some smaller compressor but in a box with a fan it is really just a great little compressor and the best I found. It puts out enough air to run 4 air brushes a nailer and small air tools all day and doesnt over heat. A compressor for a traveling artist great for studio work, dusting, inflating and framing. It also had not leaks and a true 125 psi and 2 cfm. Nice for $120 it is a steal. Easy to use and carry, fast to recover fully. I have to say it is a must have for any tool guy or airbrush artist. Great finish and no cheap rubber feel and is easy to drain tank. It also put out very little moist at the end of the day.It is the only compressor that is a great buy in the class of small compressors around a $120 that you can move around freely with a psi of 125 amazing. Update it is almost 5 years later and it works like a champ it is a little dirty, beat up, and little louder but works well!

> 3 dayI wanted a quiet compressor for use with finish & brad nailers that would let me work without the noise bothering my neighbors. This compressor is quiet enough for that purpose. I can have it running in the garage and cannot hear it inside the house with the door closed. Similarly I can have it running in the living room and cannot hear it outside the house with doors and windows closed. Its not as quiet as, say the compressor in your fridge but quiet enough to not draw attention. The nail gun makes a more annoying sound (exhaust puff) than this compressor. I can fire 10 - 14 brads at 75 psi before it will kick back in for about a minute or so. It is well made and feels like a quality product. Ill try to update this after a few months of use this summer. Update 05/06/14 : Used to drive about 1000 brads, fill the car tires. Going strong.

Greater than one weekPurchased from Amazon using a gift card....transaction and shipping could not have been smoother. I gave SENCO a try based on other comments I have heard about the quality of thier tools. I have been using it for about 4 weeks doing small trim jobs and putting in pre-hung doors. And it performs great! I usually have it set to about 65PSI for my trim/brad nailers and I get about 9-11 shots before it kicks on to refill the tank. Very quiet and very light for quick, inside jobs. I can be a room or two over from my napping toddler and he sleeps right thru the tank refilling. I think the gun driving the nail/brad might be louder. The only thing I wish SENCO did different was built a roll-cage type enclosure for the pump and assocated electronics. The Dewalt models have this feature and I think it is a worthwhile idea. Overall, an excellent purchase....

> 3 day[Sold by: Amazon.com LLC] This is a nice little compressor. I bought it on a whim to keep in garage to top-off car tires and blow air filters clean. Also bought Senco 18MG nailer and it all worked well. But lets be clear, THIS IS 1 GALLON, and its wont do anything in the way of impact wrench, large paint spray, etc. Might handle small hobby airbrushing.. someone else would have to confirm that. It is well built and appears to be good quality. Bought the Milton adapters, etc (S-210 coupler kit), along with Legacy HFZP1450YW2 Flexzilla Pro 1/4 x 50 Hybrid Air Hose (1/4 MNPT ends). Went together well and had no problems.

> 3 dayi didnt think this compressor could be so quiet until i heard a friends unit. literally is a purr you can talk over in normal volume with it at your feet. i got tired of refilling my air can from the big garage compressor for use in the basement now and then with small airbrush and air tools and blow off. this unit really fit the bill. quiet enough that you can hear it outside the basement in the rest of the house so perfect! plus it doesnt take your hearing away like most small compressors tend to do! big rubber feet means you can set it on anything and it does not mar or move at all when running. light weight enough to lift and swing with one arm easily, no worry about wrenching your back if you move wrong carrying it. really a jewel!

10-06-2025Yes, it is low volume. But, that is exactly what it is advertised to be. For what it is, the quality is very good. It is very quiet, which is good because I do not want to disturb my neighbors in the RV parks. I use it to air up my RV tires (QTY 4 - 80 psi), the airbag on my pinbox, the airbags on my truck and my truck tires (80 psi). This works very well for what I use it for. Since it only uses 4 amps it does not load my RV generator much and since it is lightweight it is great to have onboard my RV. Ive have tried the cheap 12 VDC compressors for this RV application and I wasted my money.

> 3 dayI am a kitchen & bath remodeler, and have yet to use this on the job. I have, however, done some preliminary testing in my garage tonight. The results are stated below. My first impressions are all positive: Better quality than expected at this price (great value). Smaller (better) than expected. Quieter than expected. Now for the tests. Quantity of nails shot with various nail guns before motor kicked on, using this Senco PC1010: 23 gauge = 20 18 gauge = 10 15 gauge = 5 Framing nailer = 3 To give a comparison to a larger pancake style 4 gallon 1.5 HP Campbell Hausfeld that I have been using for 15 years, which weighs more than twice as much (52 lbs.): 18 gauge = 40 15 gauge = 18 Framing = 13 Obviously, these numbers coincide with the number of gallons of compressed air, as the 4 gallon unit delivered approx. 4 times more nails than the 1 gallon unit. No surprise here. Recovery time (time from when motor first kicks back on while nailing, to when tank is fully charged and motor stops, with no nailing during this time) = 32 seconds. By comparison, my Campbell Hausfeld takes 30 seconds. It has a much larger motor, but it is having to compress 4 gallons of air instead of 1 gallon. Again, no surprise here. Noise test: I did two tests on both, this Senco, and my old Campbell Hausfeld. First I put my decibel meter right up next to the motor, and then I moved the meter to 3 feet from the motor. Here are the results: Noise level, in decibels, at motor: Senco = 83, Campbell Hausfeld = 99 Same test from 3 feet away from motor: Senco = 69, Campbell Hausfeld = 80 From what I understand, 10 decibels = double the sound. Therefore, the Campbell Hausfeld is more than twice as loud. I believe this is accurate based on standing next to each unit. My primary reason for wanting to change compressors was to reduce weight. I feel that having fewer gallons of compressed air immediately available is a small price to pay for having a compressor that is not only less than HALF the weight and size, but MUCH quieter as well. Especially given that my primary use will be with 23 & 18 gauge nailers. This is NOT the kind of compressor you want for doing a lot of 15 gauge nailing, and certainly not for framing. It will drive them just as powerfully as any large compressor - after all, 125 psi is 125 psi - but it simply will not be able to keep up with mass nailing using this size gun. Need to install a couple pre-hung doors? No problem. Need to build a partition or two for that kitchen remodel? No problem. But dont even think about trying to use this, and expect it to keep up, if framing a house all day long, or roofing a house. It was not designed for that. Buy the tool that meets the need and rate it accordingly. Note: I realize that my comparisons with the Campbell Hausfeld are not an apples-to-apples comparison. I just wanted to offer this info for anyone who may be wanting to change from a pancake style to this little Senco. I figured that since the pancake models were so popular that this comparison might be of help. I will try to report back after I have used it on several jobs. Time will tell if this little gem can maintain its 5 star rating. This was my first Senco tool ever purchased. I have a feeling it wont be my last. Very impressive, so far. 6 MONTH UPDATE: After using this product for the last 6 months, for my kitchen remodeling business, I maintain my rating of it. It has been a GREAT little compressor for all my nailing needs. It handles ALL of my trim needs, as well as the occasional building of a wall or two with a framing nailer. I love this compressor much more than I did the larger pancake compressor that I had used all those years. 16 MONTH UPDATE: After nearly a year and half of regular use on the job, I remain fully impressed with this compressor. The ONLY problem that I have encountered was that the foam pad around the handle has started to tear off. NO big deal since the unit is so light anyway. Nice to have the foam, but not really a NEED. Other than this minor flaw, this thing has been perfect. I have never once found that I wish I had a bigger unit.

> 3 dayI purchased this unit based on a couple of reasons: a commercial builder was remodeling my bathrooms and used this compressor for trim installation. It looked as though it had been through a battle but the installer said it still worked like new and liked it. The other reason is Senco is a major supplier of commercial air guns and equipment. While this unit was inexpensive, I felt Senco wouldnt manufacture a piece of junk that would jeopardize their reputation. The compressor also includes a short 1/4 coil air hose with standard quick connect ends and a Senco 18ga. brad gun with a sample selection of 18ga. brads in various lengths. With the gun came a bottle of air gun lubricant, hex wrenches, a quick connect fitting, and a small roll of teflon seal tape for the fitting. Opened the box and it was almost ready to use (had to attach the quick connect fitting to the gun). Ive used it now for a few weeks installing base boards using a 50ft. 1/4 hose and and it has worked flawlessly. It is perfect for use with 18ga. brads. It isnt appropriate for nail guns as it doesnt have the CFM air capacity for that. It comes with a tank pressure and regulator pressure gauges. Well made unit, which is made in Taiwan, where many good quality machine tools are made. Would have liked to have had it been made in the USA though.

> 3 dayIm a job lead for a general contractor, this little compressor seems to do everything it is supposed to do! As long as you are setting your expectations up for success it should not disappoint. A lot of the existing reviews are spot on, trim guns, great! Roofing and framing guns, not at all, the only time Id even consider those is if I only had a few nails to shoot and a paslode gun was not handy, but at that point Id still hand drive nails first....... My 16g Hitachi brad gun is about all this compressor can handle, after about 10 shots I have to wait for the compressor to catch up. Which is ok when installing a board or two at a time, not so ok if you are expecting to nail a whole room full of precut trim off in one go. It will keep up handily with my 18g brad nailer, I put it though its paces a couple weeks ago installing 3 1/8 bead boards for wainscoting. I installed 12 straight boards, stopping every 4th board to chck plumb, and it was running almost continuously, but did not leave me short of air. I havnt used it with a 23g pinner yet, but Im sure it would be perfectly fine. Dont hook your air blower up and expect to get more then a few seconds worth of air, thats simply not what this unit is designed for. The power cord is a reasonable length, 6 or so, Ive coupled my compressor with a 25 flexeel hose and its so light/quiet/compact moving it from room to room as you go is not really much of an annoyance. I dont know if running a longer hose would create too much pressure drop. I did use this to air up a couple tires on my truck just to see how it went. Poor bugger had to cycle 3 times to add 10lbs of air to each tire. Not great really, but did the job in a pinch. Anyway, to sum things up, as long as you dont expect too much from this fine little machine, you wont be unhappy. It is a part time use machine, really only suited for trim guns!
