SENNHEISER HD 599 Open Back Headphone, Ivory

Great sound, functional as expected. Cheap materials.

Works, no defects. Open back is great for casual listening while you need to hear outside noise.

I got mine on a good deal. But compared with Samson SR850, I like SR850 better. I upgraded SR850 with better earpads and cables, so it is not a stock SR850. HD599 bass is lightly boomy, but deep bass is lacking compared with SR850. There is more high frequency on SR850, HD599 is still very good. Overall, I did not find enough reason to keep HD599. I had other headphones, Sony 7506 and Drop Hifiman X4, I like them better than HD599.

Excelente comodidad y gran fidelidad de sonido

Scored a pair of Sennheiser HD599s used like new for $170. Same price I paid for my HD598s but a much more pleasing headphone for my ears.

The head set felt good over the ears, but the sound quality was poor at best. Had to send them back.

Great quality great sound

La suppression du bruit de ces écouteurs nexiste pas. Les matériaux semblent de qualité relativement correct. Néanmoins, pour le prix (même le jour du boxing day), cest payer pour la marque seulement. Pas pour la qualité.

Dopo 15 giorni di prova posso affermare che questa cuffia Sennheiser è veramente un prodotto ottimo sia dal punto di vista della costruzione, che del suono. Con una fonte sonora di ottimo livello il suono è eccezionale su tutta la gamma, si sentono le dita dei musicisti sulle corde ed il respiro degli stessi, le armoniche degli archi ci sono tutte, la voce di Pavarotti è veramente e totalmente la sua; insomma sentire musica con queste cuffie è unesperienza da non perdere. Al contrario se la fonte sonora non è molto buona il suono è ovviamente più scadente, ovattato e con una sovrabbondanza di bassi. Attenti quindi a che cosa collegate le cuffie e che la base sonora sia di gran livello. Altrimenti lasciate stare.
