Nice balance and sound texture for *entry level open-back headphones, nice job by Sennheiser.

I really liked a lot about these headphones. Theyre sleek, and they sound lovely. I wish there was a bit more bass presence in them, though. The ear cups and the overall clamp were just a bit too firm for me, especially when I was wearing glasses. Even without the glasses though, a headache would slowly grow from how firm everything was. Theyre open-back headphones so they wont isolate you like some other headphones, but some people find that useful! If youre in need of less bass and a firm grip on a set of headphones, these might be for you, theyre just not for me <3

Hier bespreche ich das Top-Modell von Sennheiser, den HD 599, welcher mit einem Audio-Übertragungsbereich von 12- 38,500 Hz und einem Klirrfaktor von weniger als 0,1% bei 1kHz aufwartet. Mit einer Impedanz von 50 Ω können sie neben dem Einsatz an der Hifi-Anlage auch gut an MP3-Player oder Smartphone genutzt werden können. Der HD 599 gehört aber am besten in den heimischen HiFi-Verstärker mit einem großen Klinkenstecker. Denn bei hochwertigen nicht-tragbaren Geräten, die man nicht allzu weit aufdrehen muss um vollen Sound und gute Lautstärke zu bekommen, und im professionellen Umfeld findet nach wie vor der 6,35-mm-Stecker Verwendung und eben nicht der kleine 3,5mm Stecker, den man von tragbaren Geräten kennt. Auch bei neueren Verstärkern ist durchweg die Buchse für den großen Stecker verbaut. Allerdings hat Sennheiser dennoch den Bedarf erkannt, den Kopfhörer auch an mobilen Geräten oder dem Notebook zu verwenden und daher nicht nur die Impedanz von 50 Ohm gewählt, sondern auch zwei Kabel beigelegt: eines mit 6,35mm und auch ein eigenes Verbindungskabel mit 3,5mm .

Me encantan. El sonido muy equilibrado y limpio con graves potentes. Comodísimos y muy bonitos. Para disfrutar al máximo es importante contar con una buena fuente de sonido y archivos de alta calidad.

Having worked in the music industry for 15 years I can tell you two things are true: 1) studio engineers work far more than most artists these days. Work usually occurs AFTER they finish their sessions. 2) Beyerdynamics, Audio-Technica, and Shure are all very solid brands, but Sennheiser never lets me down. Even now, I use them for my personal listening. If you are interested in perfect balance, true accurate sound, and the ability to have a sound stage that allows you to hear everythinggggg, the 599SE is a great buy and value. Being able to hear the lowest end bass, and the many components of music or audio that compression of music files eliminates to the naked ear is always a blessing. Great balance of highs, mids, and lows, all distinct yet blended into a musical mosaic. My wife is like most people, unaware of the professional brands and is not someone who has worked in music, sound design etc. So watching her face when she played a Mariah Carey song through her crap laptop and was able to hear the song for the first time somewhat closer to how it was originally recorded was priceless. I would not recommend the 599 for portable devices and phones unless you pair it with an amp for the best value. Otherwise, it still improves the listening experience, but can only do so much without more power. Perfect for gaming or Netflixing when everyone else is sleeping. Amazing cans, great price.

No where does it say that it uses a proprietary 2.5mm cable jack to impede usage with the nearly universal range of attachable microphones.

Cascos de excelente calidad dada su marca tan renombrada, su calidad es excepcional tanto en acabados, materiales y sonido. Sus almohadillas son cambiables para cuando se estropeen. Cuenta con dos cables diferentes, con Jack de distintos tamaños y aparte un adaptador para Jack de 6,5 a 3,5 mm. El modo de sacar en cable de el auricular es media vuelta y sacarlo, hay que tener cuidado con esto ya que podemos intentar tirar de ellos creyendo que es a presión y romperlos. Su calidad de sonido es muy muy buena y son comodos, no te duelen las orejas ni llevándolos mucho tiempo, se nota que están fabricados para poder hacerlo sin problema. Están fabricados para usarlos en equipos HiFi de ahí su gran calidad

I bought these to play digital piano, and it is truely amazing. The first time I used them, I thought the sound was coming from the piano and not from the headset! Bought them on sale, and would buy it again for sure.
