SENNHEISER HD 599 Open Back Headphone, Ivory

I bought these trying to replace some closed back Sennheiser headphones i had that were MUCH MUCH cheaper but also very old. I was very surprised with how light and comfortable they are to wear. The overall sound is quite good, even for the price range these outperform my over ear sony noise cancelling set that are twice as expensive (but also have NC and Blue tooth and wireless)

Getting rid of the poofy HD598 headband design has somehow made these HD599s more comfortable. The HD599 keeps the energetic (and bass light) sound of the HD598. These are great for live sports, video games, and to a lesser extent, music. Most comfortable headphones I own. My HD650 technically sounds better (and for music, it plainly does sound better and voices are more natural), but for a fun energetic sound, optimal comfort, and the convenience of a single earcup cable, I tend to grab these more often than not.

Best headphones ever. If you want quality sound, spend a few extra bucks. Well worth it

Great sound quality. Very cheap material.

Very comfortable even for long listening sessions. I use for both music and gaming; I forget Im wearing them sometimes. Excellent detailed sound that excels at both music and gaming applications to my ear.

sound good, open back is not conducive to noise cancellation by design Im not sure why it asks about it

Ottima dinamica, dettaglio e colore del suono. Convincente anche la scena è il palcoscenico. Oltretutto confortevolissime fresche e per nulla affaticanti.
