heard things i never heard before on familiar recordings. can also be used for lower volume use in office because you can hear your surroundings very well while enjoying some personal sound.

This is my first pair of open-back headphones, and Im absolutely in love. I have tinnitus as a result of dental surgery years back, and closed-back headphones made my ears feel like they were suffocating. With these open-back Sennheisers, my hearing feels open and unrestricted. And the sound quality is amazing! Not to sound too cliche, but I listen to songs Ive heard a hundred times before, and Im now hearing details Ive never heard before.

These are the most comfortable headphones for long term use that I’ve ever had, and the sound quality is great for this price. I’ve owned fancy-pants headphones like Bose and I honestly don’t hear what the big difference is. I listen to a lot of classical music where precision, distortion, and feedback are major considerations and I’m personally really sensitive to “off” sounds. I don’t have any of those problems with these. There are two drawbacks as far as I can see: One, these obviously don’t fit in your pocket so they’re probably not great travel or exercise headphones. Two, don’t think you’re going to get on an airplane and be nestled in your own little sonic cocoon. If noise cancellation is the most important factor for you, you probably will want to at least consider other options.

I am a loyal fan of this company, it produces best audio items for both commercial and individual clients.

These Headphones are truly fantastic for long-term use and have really high quality frequency response.

Bought these for my son to use in a studio editing setting at college. He really loves them. Very comfortable and sound great.

In some aspects I prefer these to the my 650. Ive noticed details of tracks with these that I cant hear on better headphones and they feel very open. The big negative imho is that they accentuate the negative aspects of each track as well. I tried using these with black metal and similar experimental music. It was a very painful experience. However, well mastered mainstream pop and classical though works great with these.
