Sennheiser Professional HD 280 PRO Over-Ear Monitoring Headphones

These headphones sound wonderful. I picked these up because I was tired of the poor / weak sound that comes out of ear buds. Its definitely worth lugging these around for the difference, along with a nice case (I got a casebudi which works well). Wherever youre at these are like blinders. The sound quality is excellent and it drowns out the horrid music, cell phone conversations, and general obnoxious noise pollution that you can experience in most public spaces. These arent flashy but they deliver.

I havent been moved to write a review in some time, but damn. These are wonderful. If there is any flaw at all its that I couldnt immediately see which side was left and right. Otherwise, best headphones Ive ever owned. The wire is attached to the left side, by the way. :)

Im sure there are more in-depth, audiophile reviews out there. Im just going to say what I liked/didnt like about them from the perspective of a guy who loves music, loves good sound, and really doesnt care about the hardware specifics.

Good headphones, shape, sound quality, but unfortunately left headphone stopped working after 2 to 3 months of use.

Very uncomfortable and not the best sounding for the price and size.

I have had these headphones for 5.5 years as of now, and they still work wonderfully. I am by no means a musical professional or great connoisseur of music, I am a student who likes to listen to some tunes when gaming, studying, or relaxing. It is with these metrics in mind that I give these a full five stars for having exceptional music quality for a full FIVE AND A HALF years, or over 1500 days of constant use. These headphones have traveled, been dropped, stuffed in a backpack, had water spilled on them, dropped again, stepped on, tripped on, had the headphone jack bent, and dropped some more. Yet these things refuse to die. After half a decade of use, the only notable wear and tear is the plastic covering on the (quite comfortable) foam headrest that has deteriorated due to the ravages of time. This is not a complain, but rather an endorsement that the only physical deterioration of this product is purely cosmetic after thousands of days being placed and removed on my head. The headphones are comfortable to wear, and seal well around the ears for a more immersive experience.

Took a while to break them in I guess, but I eventually grew to love the sound. A bit big for using while commuting, which is why I got them, but really good phones.

Awesome headphones, absolute bargain at the price, would definitely recommend
