The sound quality is very poor with these headphones. I purchased these and after 1 day of listening had to return them. My previous pair of $10 headphones had better sound quality. Also the compfort is very poor. Any Grado product will blow these out of the water in sound quality. I just purchased the grado sr80s and the sound quality is much much better.

I would give these headphones a high rating, excellent tonal quality, comfortable, exceptional dynamic range,quite an improvement to my bose unit.

These headphones have put a nice happy face on my husband and quiet to my ears when I am trying to read.

1. Flat Response & equal representation of highs, mids and lows. More than enough amplification.

I bought these because they are great headphones for this price. However, the first pair Amazon delivered had a defective audio cord upon arrival. By defective I mean that they only work when the cable is at JUST the right angle with JUST the right amount of weight - the kind of defect that only gets worse over time, until it simply doesnt work at all. And now, the replacement pair also arrived with the same problem, so Ill have to send these back too. I think it has to do with how they are being shipped.

I bought these hoping they would be noise cancelling enough to play drums and music and they work perfectly for that. They sound fantastic and also block a ton of noise. I often cant hear people talking in the same room as me, even with low volume. They do take a little bit of getting used to because you hear different noises as a result of the way they cancel noise and by squeezing your head, but I tried my old headphones and dont like them anymore. These are great set of headphones!
