Sennheiser Professional HD 280 PRO Over-Ear Monitoring Headphones

These headphones were suggested to me by two audio engineers and they didnt disappoint. Im a software developer and wear headphones 6 hours per day. Im very picky about comfort. Some headphones get too hot, rub your ears or are too heavy after so many continuous hours of use. The HD 280s are very comfortable and sound great. Im no audiophile, but Im shocked at how inexpensive these are. Great value. Buy them. If you dont like them, repost them used and Ill buy them.

I use these for PC gaming. They are comfortable for hours on end and they sound great.

Really crisp sound quality. Does not have much for bass, but with a studio monitor headset it is what you want! The fordable cups are comfortable on me. I wear glasses and they dont interfere with anything at all.

Lovely sound, very honest. Somewhat bass heavy, especially if you are monitoring your own voice. All in all, a great purchase , and worth every penny.

These summamabitches are amazeballs. I honestly did not think music had so much bass (thanks, iPhone earbuds!).

Most people when looking at the price on these things will just push them away because they say that their cheap $20 headphones sound just fine. Well, they arent.

If youre recording music at a professional level, whether as music or for video, these headphones will reveal to you exactly what youre putting down. They have a flat frequency response that is very accurate. That means if youre hoping for Beats-style amped up bass, this is not your cup of kambucha. If youre a metal head hoping for face-melting edge on those high high double-guitar shred riffs, this is not your cup of blood. But if you want to know no foolin what most people will hear when they hear your recording, these are unparalleled.

When I first got my HD 280 Pros, I hooked them up to my big stereo system and played the radio through them (loud enough so that it could be heard through the whole house, which is astonishing) for two days. Having broken them in, Ive been using them to listen to music and watch moves, mostly on my computer. Their sound quality is superb; significantly better than that of my Altec-Lansing sound dock, which is touted for the crisp perfection of its speakers.
