Greater than one weekBought six pair for my office. Everyone loves the range and how effective they are at keeping out other sounds, such as me trying to get their attention. Great headphones!

Greater than one weekI upgraded to these headphones from the Sennheiser HD 205 headphones. The HD 205 were an impressive set of headphones; however, they did not live up to my expections for headphones that I would be using for any extended period of time.

> 3 dayGreat Headphone, these are very comfortable to wear for hours, as the ear muffs sit around your ears, not on them like many of the more expensive brands do. They are not bass heavy like the Beats type of headphones, but I actually like these much better. All I have to do is play with the equalizer on my computer, and I can get these to produce some of the cleanest, as well as deep, bass sounds. It takes a while to properly get these to sound really great. Its usually recommended to leave these headphones connected to an audio source playing music for a couple of days, and that breaks them in quite well. I left them connected overnight to my computer, playing music with lots of bass in it, and after a couple of nights, I can say that they sound a whole lot better now. The only negative I can say about them, is that they come with a very long spiral type cord, and can get on the way if you are using these sets on an mp3 player or computer. But then again, these were made for studio/DJ use, hence the reason they come with the long cord. It would be nice if Sennheiser came with a newer version of this model, with either a shorter, straight cord. Or better yet, give the user the option to choose different cords types/length with a jack connector right on the headset.

Just a normal everday dude
Greater than one weekI ordered these headphones because I love listening to music as I work and read and use Pandora a lot as well. It is not always quiet in my house with beagles and two kids in elementary school so I decided to purchase some at Christmas time.

> 3 dayUsed this headphone for 5 years or so, and it is by far the most often used headphone for me at home. I still have a couple headphone around me, Sennheisers MX680i and CX880i, but those are obviously bought for different purposes. The long cord of this headphone is very good, and the sound insulation is very nice. The head band started its decay within a year or two of usage, though the cushion just started to break recently. I am not sure if I would get replacement cushions yet, as it is still usable right now. Of sound quality, I cannot comment much, as I dont have my ear as acute as it was in my teen years.

> 3 dayOn our second pair. First ones lasted almost a year. I was expecting them to last longer for this price. One of the channels quit. Wont buy a 3rd pair.

> 3 dayGreat headphones, sound quality is on par with most mid to high range headphones. Has a flat response, so if you want them to sound a certain way, you will have to play around with your sound cards equalizer. If you want them to be more on the bass side, you can do that, they are great. If you want less bass, you can do that as well. If you need them for studio use - they are great there too.

> 3 dayFirst received a product with faulty right channel, but faulty product return and re dispatch of new product was in Godspeed. Using it as a monitor head phone and it’s quality is outstanding.

> 3 dayGreat isolating headphones. My favorite closed style headphones for tracking guitar and bass and focusing on EQ comparisons when mixing.
