Sennheiser Professional HD 280 PRO Over-Ear Monitoring Headphones

I chose the HD280pros after reading a few reviews off CNET and Amazon. This is the first pair of cans Ive ever owned. Im inexperienced with good sound, but the highs and mids are pretty good. The sound could have more clarity, its almost as if theres a slight veil over the music. They also dont go very loud when I use them with my sony mp3 player. The biggest problem I have with them is the weak bass. Its crisp and sounds great, but theres not enough power behind it for me to be satisfied. Im looking for replacements at the moment. .

Good product, a little bit heavy . I thought it would be a little more comfortable, but its still ok. Very good sound.

Excellent quality and sound

The unit has decent mids and highs. However, the only way to truly get bass is by cranking your volume knob all the way up. Now, I do not own an amp or DAC, the unit alone becomes tinny with poor audio when the bass finally engages.

After evaluating a few different kinds, we purchased a bunch of these headphones for the office so that people could work without being distracted by others. Indeed, with these on and even quiet music playing I can barely tell that someone next to me is even talking.

El sonido me parece muy bueno sin ser un experto, yo los utilizo para escuchar música, oír la radio, películas, series, juegos, y me parece que el sonido es muy bueno. También puedo decir que el aislamiento funciona a la perfección y puedes disfrutar de la actividad que te guste sin tener de fondo los sonidos del vecino o de la calle.

Good clarity for acoustic instruments and has pretty good blocking of external noise- can mow the lawn with these.

I purchased these headphones so I could make recordings at home for my band that would sound good on the CD player in a car after I was done.

These arent low end gaming headphones... these are studio quality, used by top podcasters and voice over artists. So, theyre not cheap, but theyre a good value.
