Worth every penny. I have a parrot, and I bought this so I didn’t have to sweep under her cage daily. This little robot thoroughly cleans the hard floors as well as the carpets and rugs in my entire 2b/2ba apartment. The only places it didn’t get really well are odd corners and in front of the stove (which sticks out a little). I watched it clean the entire apartment for almost an hour in amazed wonder, occasionally moving things out of its way. I would recommend to pick any items up off of the floor, push in dining table chairs, and pick up small rugs (I shook mine out directly onto the kitchen and bathroom floors). I am incredibly impressed with this unit, and would recommend this purchase for anyone who does not have fur pets. It might be able to handle a fur home, but since I have a feather home I couldn’t say if it would work well for that.

A great robot vac. Runs on schedule and cleans dog hair everywhere it goes. The only problem I faced was Wi-Fi connecting it while pairing with my phone. It took three attempts to succeed. Now I am just happy it cleans on its own.

So I’ve had this vacuum for near a month now. This is my first robot vacuum. I can say without a doubt that I’m truly impressed. It 100% deserves the #1 Best Seller spot for robot vacuums. Although, it DOES have its CONS. Let’s get the cons out of the way. Let me preface, I have a mainly hardwood house, and it EXCELS, on hardwood, gets basically everything. Although, we have this really thick shag carpet in the living room, that the shark does not like. Sometimes I can rub my fingers through the carpet and feel little tiny crumbs or something, BUT; on the app, you can turn on the max suction setting which helps it a lot. Sometimes gets lost, and the map takes FOREVER to create on the app. Basically how it works is that after so many cleans, the Shark will have a map of your house memorized. I have been running it quite literally everyday for this past month, two months. Still no progress on the map progression. So I have no clue if it’s just me changing things around In the house or what but I really wish I could get that feature to work. *You can get around this by simply picking the vacuum up and bringing it to the room you want cleaned, start off at a corner, and press the clean button* Now the pros!, when I tell you that this vacuum literally gets everything, I am not lying. I empty it maybe every two weeks and there’s always big noice clumps of dust, hair, crumbs, etc. it truly is a phenomenal machine. Like the title says, it self empties, which is so freaking cool! I’m an extremely lazy person and good Lord that is so clutch to have. Anyways I hoped this help somebody at some point! Thanks Shark!

LOVE this vacuum! We have 4 dogs and LOTS of hair! We have tried three different Roombas and none of them even came close to the job this Shark does; my floors haven’t been this clean in forever! I will watch for the next sale and buy another!

This Shark robot vacuum is a game changer and I love it! When I come home the last thing I feel like doing is vacuuming and this vac runs while Im away. My place remains clean despite the efforts of my two cats. Ive had this vac for nearly a year and Ive been regularly cleaning and maintaining its removable parts on a weekly basis. It keeps my place clean and vacuums in a nice predicable path, hardly ever getting trapped in a room or on a rug. I notice today however that theres oxidative growth over both charging plates. For the past few months Ive noticed that the vacuum cleaner will turn itself on at night in order to re-adjust itself on the charging base. I wonder if this new behavior is due to the corrosion. I will contact Shark and post updates here. Other than that, I have no issues and I love this vac.

    Greater than one week

Works fantastic on our hardwood floors and carpeted rooms. I dont think Ive had to bust out my old vacuum since getting one of these for the upstairs and one for the downstairs. We have 3 cats that would track around kitty litter and shed everywhere. This vacuum does a fantastic job of keeping our floors clean and comfortable to walk around barefoot on. (I did buy the no tangle rollers since cat hair/human hair was building up on the roller and getting wrapped around it eventually stopping the roller from turning and needing manual intervention. I havent had the no tangle rollers for long so well see if theyre any better than the stock ones) Only complaint is the mapping doesnt work the best. The robot will ignore the no go zones and you have to wipe the map and start over to try to get them to apply. Mapping software could use some work. Also youll want to run these during the day/in a well lit room. Ive tried running them late at night or early in the morning and due to the lack of light they get lost and cant find the docking station. Verdict: Despite the buggy mapping software for no go zones and low light issues I love the fact I no longer have to vaccum!

I had an ilife V3 pro and my dogs (one short hair one long) killed it before we moved to a house with carpeting. I wanted a vac that could handle pets and carpet. This one does... OK. Not great, not bad. It cant do the cleaning of a full powered vac but is nice for days in between a good cleaning. It does work on carpet, not great but good. Hardwood and tile is just fine. As for the no tangle feature? I cant tell if it actually works or not as every day I get notifications that something has gone wrong and have to pull the sweeper bar out and detangle it. To me? Its worth the money, but has room for improvement. It does a great job of coverage and do love the catch bin. Battery life is good and love that if I set it to max power, it stays there. The app is easy to use, but the error messages tend to be vague. took me forever to figure out error 2 (an obstruction underneath). I thought it meant the lenses for ledges or obstacles. Instead it meant the beater bar was clogged.

I am rating this vacuum based off of what id expect from a robot vacuum. First- this is a robot vacuum and cant replace a good, regular, stand up, more powerful vacuum cleaner. I would recommend to use this as a helper in between a good deep clean when you vacuum weekly. As far as picking up hair - it doesnt do as great of a job as my Dyson Ball Animal Hair Vacuum, but for a robot vacuum it is pretty dang awesome. It does a wonderful job at getting up the hair that my Golden sheds in between my deeper vauuming sessions. I do have to clean out the dust pan and bristles every now and then to help prevent the hair from getting stuck. However, you have to do this with regular vacuums anyway. Suction Power - i wouldnt say it is as great as a regular vacuum cleaner, but it does a great job for it being the size that it is. It picks up pretty great. overall im very happy with the current cleanliness. Other good points - easy to set up - easy to use app - makes map of the house it cleans so you can ask it to clean specific parts of the house - has a self empty feature. I can just pick up the canister and go empty it directly into the trash can. Cons - can be a bit annoying to let it run if youre home, it could get under your feet - loud when emptying the contents / running. BUT quieter than a normal vacuum - Not super suitable for smaller homes. our townhouse is a bit small but it works pretty decent.

We have 3 dogs and there was hair in corners and along the edge of the wall constantly, and they would also track dirt in all the time. It always looked like the house was dirty unless you vacuumed everyday. The robot manages to keep the entire place looking decent. It actually improved our mood because youre not coming home to piles of hair and dirt poking out of the corners. We have 1400 sq ft on the main floor where the robot is and we empty the main cannister about once every week or two. The robot returns to empty about 3-4 times during its cleaning cycle (set to extra emptying due to dog hair). I would not like the regular robot that doesnt have the cannister, it would likely not do the job for us. It takes about 2-3 hrs to do the entire floor including returning to base to charge when needed. Now for the slight negatives: 1. It tends to get a little stuck every few days on our dog beds sometimes although its nice that it can actually climb onto them and clean them too usually (theyre the giant pillow type not mattress or walled type). 2. This version has a brush roller, I wish I had known about/seen the rubber roller as the brush does pick up the hair quite a bit, but I tend to only have to clean it out once a week or so. 3. The cleaning pattern seems a little non optimal and it sometimes tends to go over the same area multiple times. 4. Tends to close doors behind it so it can get stuck in a room, especially if the door is slightly balanced such that it closes easily, not sure what any robot could do about this. Weve tied back the doors it happens to the most. Wish list: 1. Ability to see the robots location on the map it creates on your phone. To find the robot you can use the app and it will make noise so its not imperative, and if it stops for some reason it sends a notification. 2. Ability for the robot to detect that it is stuck in a room and send a notification before it gets low on battery. 3. Replacement brush with the rubber brushes (might be able to havent really checked yet).

I bought this at a Black Friday sale for about 300 dollars. I was skeptical about the abilities of such a small vacuum compared to the amount of hair German Shepherds leave laying on the floor at home. I have to admit, I was WRONG to judge. This thing is AWESOME!! It has cut my workload from 2 times a week vacuuming hair, to just spot cleaning the few clumps the vacuum couldnt reach. Im walking around in my socks on the bare floor, just to see how well its doing, and I cant see any dirt or hair on the bottom of my sock. And the BEST part is it finds its way back to the dock and EMPTIES itself, then gets back after it!!! I can even use my Google Home voice prompts to clean the floor and BOOM its off vacuuming... *Do not listen to the negative reviews. I am here to tell you, this thing is a WINNER!* Keep this in mind though..... Technology of any kind is never perfect. Do not go into this believing it will solve all of your floor cleaning problems because it wont. This is merely a tool to help make life a little easier, but it wont replace still needing to vacuum a few spots here and there. Whats important is that you FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS and set it up properly, then just let it clean as much of your house as often as possible. Over time, the device will map your house and have a better idea of the areas and directions it needs to go. You will start to notice it anticipate corners and lengths or hallways almost perfectly. Just be patient and let the device learn. AGAIN, THIS TAKES TIME!! It is not instant.
