Greater than one weekI bought this vacuum after reading TONS of reviews. Almost every vacuum I looked at had scores of complaints about them not working; and this one had less complaints than most. Well, you can add MY complaint to the pile! I havent even had it two months, and have only used it four times since its just for the spare bedroom area and has seen very light usage. I followed ALL the instructions about charging, cleaning the rollers, etc. So it was a bit of a surprise that as I was vacuuming the (very clean) guest room, it started making a strange noise and completely lost suction. The rollers were still spinning, but what was the point? I have been around vacuums enough to know when to cut my losses. Fortunately, Amazon is allowing me to send it back for a refund. And I still need to buy another vacuum. Grrrrrr... While Im at it, Ill give you the full review: PROS: Lightweight, easy to maneuver, stores easily, cordless, rollers are really good at picking up dog hair/fine dirt and its good along the edges. It also does seem to hold a charge well, although Ive never vacuumed for more than 15-20 minutes. CONS: Piece of junk that doesnt hold up under even light usage, design flaws include very awkward buttons/levers to move the various parts and remove the canister. Oh! And the canister!!!! Let me tell you, the thing is SO TINY that if you have any square footage at all, youll have to empty it every five minutes. Taking it off and putting it back on involves some gymnastics; I needed to hold the vacuum between my knees and bend over to pop the release button. RIDICULOUS. Dont waste your money on this one. My mothers old Bissell out-performs this thing, and its probably 15 years old.

> 3 dayThis is a terrific little vacuum! I have a vacuum for rugs and floors but it doesn’t have a hose, so I can’t get around and behind things. My daughter has this vacuum and recommended it so I got it. Well, I don’t even use my other vac anymore. This vacuum is fantastic, not only does it get behind and around in the places where dirt accumulates over time, but it’s also great on rugs and floors. It’s also helpful for cleaning the ceiling fans and dust around the sky lights. Excellent suction and easy to clean. I highly recommend.

> 3 dayWhat can I say? This is a GREAT vacuum. It has replaced an old upright and a canister vac for 95% of my vacuuming needs. We have dogs and cats, and this little powerhouse allows me to easily stay ahead of all the furball tumbleweeds that quickly accumulate on our floors. It is flexible, lightweight, powerful, and can easily go from a handheld to a stick vac. The beater attachment can be placed at the end of the extension pole, or even directly to the suction head, for the best stair cleaner Ive ever used. See photo. There are a number of useful attachments included in the kit. The dust bin holds a decent amount of dust, and can easily be emptied. Storing the unit is easy, also, as it can be configured to bend in half, and stand up on its own. See photo. Another handy configuration is to bend it backwards to get under sofas, cabinets, beds, etc, and the headlamp helps see what youre working on under stuff. See photos. The vacuum comes with two rechargeable batteries that last a LONG LONG TIME. Easily weeks, if not months. The are two settings for the beater, one for carpet and one for hardwood/tile floors, and there are two speeds/suction levels, normal and TURBO I have had rechargeable stick vacuums before, and while they were useful, they never could replace our other vacuums. This Shark has done just that. HIGHLY recommended.

> 3 dayI think this is a very good cordless vacuum. The suction is great ( I have 6 cats); this vacuum is a great backup to my big corded vacuum. Being able to detach the hand held portion helps with quick and easy cleanups!! I am very impressed!!

> 3 dayI have three cats that are always rough-housing and I get fur ALL OVER THE PLACE! This vacuum just pulls it right up easily! Light weight & easy to maneuver. One of the BEST vacuums Ive ever had the pleasure of owning. SO GLAD that I made the decision to buy!

> 3 dayIve always bought the 80$ vacuums at Walmart. I was cat sitting for my friend and cleaned her house the day she was coming home. She had a Shark, and I was in love in less than a minute. Was very excited that shortly after, the shark was the Amazon deal of the day - immediately ordered. It took less than 3 minutes to put together, its lightweight, folds up nice for storage...and the suction is incredible! The attachments and battery are so easy to pop on. Converts to a handheld in 5 seconds. I love that it runs on a battery - no need to buy anything addl to clean car, camper, or boat. The suction is 10x better than anything else I have used in the past. I used to hate vacuuming, maybe every other week - this is so easy to pull out, I vacuum almost daily now. Battery lasts a couple hours maybe, but because you get two, theres always one charged and ready to go. I was going to keep my old vacuum for the second home but will plan on getting another shark. Theres no way I could go back.
