Sigma 150-600mm 5-6.3 Contemporary DG OS HSM Lens for Canon

This lens is sharp all the way to 600mm. I had read some reviews saying it was soft at 600mm, so I had to test it out. I do plane spotting and use a Canon 7D Camera. Auto focus is fast and accurate, the IS is also very well done. I also tested it on my R7 with the EF Converter, no issues at all with it either. I have a 100-400 IS USM L lens to compare it to, and that lens stays on the R7 due to weight. The wife likes to use the lighter setup. I am very impressed with the lens. Time will tell, but the savings are worth it to me. Its very well built, its tight, and the zoom is perfect. YMMV but I am happy!

I am using this lense on my Sony A7iii with Sigma MC-11 Adapter and this Combinations works absolutely great for me.

Too heavy an investment for me but worth it. Body quality, picture quality all good. Heavy but did not have a choice at 600mm. Auto focus is quick and good but in case of a clustered image and high zoom. That exact focus is always tedious and thats the same even in manual focus mode. Very happy with the lens.
