Sigma 150-600mm 5-6.3 Contemporary DG OS HSM Lens for Canon

There is nothing negative I can say about this lens - all positive. An amazing lens! You do have to get a really good tripod and head (I suggest a gimbal) to hold it, otherwise you won’t achieve maximum quality with your shots.

This is my favourite lens, it is beautifully made and is well balanced when fitted to my Canon 70D. I had this delivered to my holiday destination (in Portugal) No problem. It is very sharp all the way through it huge zoom range and my bird photography has definitely improved with this lens. The IS is brilliant and I am getting very sharp shots at 1/60 sec. I can wholeheartedly recommend this lens to anyone looking for more distance.

This lens has proven to me to be worth every penny. It will reach out and still take super clear photos. I do need to get a heavy duty tripod. Camera and lens are heavy.

This is a good lens, and I like it a lot but I dont bring it as many places as I thought I would due to its size and weight. Takes great clear pictures, but warning, you do need good daylight to get decent results at 5-6.3... I kind of wished Id waited and got a 70-200mm with a lower fixed f-stop. In daylight and if size/weight isnt an issue you wont be disappointed.

I just received this lens a few days ago and spent the weekend photographing in a couple of my favorite places trying this lens at different focal lengths and lighting situations. My fist impressions seeing the images back at home was how great the color and sharpness was with this lens was on my Nikon D7500. The auto focus worked pretty fast and with great accuracy in good lighting. In low light it still is good depending on contrast, It is a heavy lens and my arms do get tired handholding while Im photographing birds. Overall, Im really happy with my decision to purchase this lens and would recommend it to photographer friends if asked.
