Sigma 150-600mm 5-6.3 Contemporary DG OS HSM Lens for Canon

Great lens, very sharp with excellent clarity. The lens is a little heavy but I shoot hand held and have had excellent results. On my Canon 6d it does front focus, I made a micro adjustment of +7 and tact sharp. I have a canon 70-300L and that is an excellent lens I see no difference in picture quality. In my opinion the Sigma is as good at all aperture settings, the sweet spot 7.1.

I havent been able to use it a lot yet, but the few photos Ive taken came out nice. I took some bird and animal photos and the autofocus was spot on. It looks and feels really well made. It is really large lens so not something you want to carry around all day.

Pour le prix, fais un job denfer avec un autofocus cependant assez aléatoire... quelques apérations chromatiques pour moi aussi... Mais rien qui ne se règle pas dans LR. Mais le rapport prix/focal/ouverture est excellent et sous réserve de faire sa mise au point manuellement, les résultats peuvent être excellents.

Bought this to replace my canon 70-200 F/4 IS as I wanted a bit more reach. And I can say I’m very impressed so far had the lens about a month and love it. A bit on the hefty size! And longer than my 70-200. Would I recommend this lens definitely and to get it below RRP it’s a win win!

This lens is very good at taking closeup nature photos. The auto focus and stabilizer are terrific. Even for this 75 year old man I am able to get clear shots. I also own the Sigma 150 -500 zoom which after 5 years needed some maintenance. The people at Sigma repaired it at no charge and it also works very well. The 150 -600 has helped my wife, an avid bird watcher, identify those fall warblers . I highly recommend this lens and any product from Sigma.
