Sigma 30mm F1.4 Contemporary DC DN Lens for Sony E

Over the years, I went through quite a few Sigma lenses but was never really impressed with any of them - until I tried this one. The image quality rivals prime lenses from other manufactures I have, such as Nikon, Sony NEX, Pentax, and Panasonic m4/3 - the lens is already very sharp starting right at f/2.8 and the color is good too.

Reasons why I love this lens:

Using this on my a6300 is a pleasure. It focuses quickly, looks great and isnt too big for a bag. Some might nitpick and complain about CA but its really not noticeable unless youre a hardcore pixel peeper. Its performs better than it should for the price. Definitely worth getting

Es un gran lente dependiendo de lo que hagas, para planos generales o fotografía de calle inclusive algo de paisaje. Su nitidez es muy buena. No tiene estabilizador pero en realidad no lo necesito mi cámara si lo tiene. Es un lente muy luminoso y su bokeh es muy bonito.

Got the lens on discount during festive season. The best value for money glass. Works like a charm with sony alpha series. The low-light performance and autofocus is unreal.

Great lens for the price! Maybe not the sharpest ever and have some chromatic aberration, but bright and have a beautiful smooth bokeh. Here are some sample photos from the first day I used. (sony a6000)

Spectacular lens! And Im only using it on a Sony NEX 5N camera. This lens literally turned my little Sony into a professional work horse! For less than $500, this is by far the best prime lens Ive ever used on an APC-S camera. The bokeh is buttery smooth and it can be shot in almost any type of lighting condition. Paired it up with a B+W filter, and now I can attest that the photo quality rivals that of a full frame camera.
